Confusing Love

The new girl

After Maths, i head to English where i have none of my friends in, and i don't try to make friends in English because most of them are popular or just weirdos. So what happened next just made me excited. ''Okay class, i know we're in the second term but we have a new student with us, tell us a bit about yourself" The teacher says, looking at the class then at her. She stares awkwardly at her shoes then looks up, then back down. "What's your name, lets start with that" The teacher smiles at her softly. She looks up again "Lily" She says, nervously. "What's are your favourite activities to do in your free time" The teacher asks. Before Lily could answer the question, a guy from the back yells "Sex" and almost half of the class laughs. Lily blushes and she looks down quickly. I notice the voice was from Hunter, obviously. "Shut up Hunter, you disgusting jerk, let her speak" I yell back at him. He glares at me, but i see Lily smile a little bit. I look back up at the front. "I like to read, go swimming, and dance" She answers. I smile, the same hobbies as me.

When it was finally Lunch time, i go to my locker and start to put my Maths and English books back into my locker. I feel a tap on my shoulder and i turn around. The new girl 'Lily' stands there "Hi, i just came over to say thank you, for sticking up for me in class" She says, smiling softly. I look at her and i see her face was red and her eyes puffy, she probably had a rough morning. "No problem, Hunter is a jerk, stay away from him" i warn her. She nods and starts to walk away "Hey, you can sit with me and my friends at lunch if you want" I yell out to her. She turns and smiles, agreeing to sit with us.

"Guys, this is Lily, she's new, she's in my English class" I announce. Everyone looks up and all yell their greetings, and then everyone announces their names. I sit down, and Lily sits next to me. "This is different from my old school, all of my friends were shy and quiet, no one greeted me like that" She laughs. I nod and take a bite of my sandwich "They are pretty loud, but they are all really cool people" I say, taking another bite of my sandwich. She nods and looks around the table "Is everyone here in relationships?'' She asks, curiously. I look back up and shake my head. "Not everyone, but some are" I say. "Hey everyone, i need to say something" I call out, loud enough for everyone at the table to hear. Everyone turns their head and stare at me, quiet. "Me and Ryan are in a relationship, just wanted to tell everyone" I say. Everyone calls out "duh" and "yeah, obviously" I laugh. I turn to Lily. "I'm in a relationship with Ryan" I point to him. "and Sabrina has a long distance relationship with a guy called 'Daniel' but he's coming back in a few weeks, and the rest are single" I explain. She smiles and nods "So that guy...Alex, is single?'' she asks, quietly. I laugh softly and nod. 

Once the bell goes for half lunch, me and the girls go outside to the tree me, Sabrina and Elle normally go too every lunch."Maybe us girls could have a sleepover on the weekend, to welcome Lily" I say. Elle, Sabrina, and Lily sit on the grass, making a circle. Everyone smiles "Totally, that would be awesome" Elle says. Sabrina agrees.
