BELLE POV

since Danny had interrupted our date on Sunday had Max been behaving strangely. he was very careful that absolutely no one would see us together, he gave me a lot of closeness and love. I thought it was strange because the look on Max's face after Danny had whispered something to him scared me.I decided to go home to England to spend time with my family but had been given Liverpool - Manchester United tickets by Lando as a present for us to attend.

 I was supposed to fly home today but it was like Max didn't want me to leave his side. I could barely go to the bathroom by myself without him accompanying me or asking me a thousand questions.Lando was supposed to pick me up at 2 o'clock and I had asked Max to have some time of his own but it was impossible. I tried to explain that Lando was going to pick me up and that I was going to check out but nothing I said made Max leave my room.I sighed deeply to myself and packed my bags and put on comfortable clothes and put my hair up in a high bun.

 the awkward feeling from the date hadn't left yet and I decided to go over to Lando. there was 30 minutes left but i didn't care.I told Max I was going to meet Lando and he reluctantly got out of bed and started to get his things that he had left around my room. I had sat down on the sofa and waited for him to finish but he tried to delay by coming up from behind and hugging me. 

I would have thought it was cute if it wasn't for the fact that he had been acting strangely since yesterday.

"Max"

"what is it liefje"

"what was that Danny whispered to you yesterday?"

I watched as he paled and began to find it hard to get words out

"he just said he was happy for me"

"can you stop lying Max, I know you're lying so I'd appreciate it if you told me what he said""don't you have to go now?"

I felt irritated that he refused to tell me and I decided to take matters into my own hands. I put on a fake smile and hugged him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. I explained that I needed to go to Lando but that I would call when I was at the airport and when I had landed.Max went out first and went towards his room which was two rooms away. Lando's room was downstairs and I knew Danny's room was upstairs so I decided to pay Danny a visit. I couldn't wait for the elevator so I took the stairs up to the second floor.I stood outside his door and started knocking. I heard footsteps inside the room and soon after the door opened.

"Belle, what a nice surprise"

"I have just one question before I have to go"

"well what does mini russell want" Danny wondered

"what was it you whispered to Max yesterday?"

Even he turned pale when I asked that question. I started to get annoyed that no one could tell me what they had said yesterday. i noticed how he opened and closed his mouth several times to say something but when nothing came i turned and started walking.
