LANDO POV
Belle had been in the hospital in Belgium for the past week in an induced coma because she had received such a heavy blow to the head. the doctors said they had put her in a coma to reduce the brain's need for oxygen, which in turn would lead to a faster healing process. there was a smal break in the calendar so I had spent almost every day by her side. I will never forget what I saw on all the TVs when I got to the pit.
FLASHBACK
"red flag, red flag"
"huh? what happened?" did I ask.
"Belle is hanging upside down in the barrier and her car is on fire"
"WHAT IS SHE OKAY?" I yelled and he could hear how worried I was getting.
"she doesn't seem to be responding or moving in the car. get in now"
i slowed down and went inside. when i jumped out i saw my dad in the garage and he had tears in his eyes.
"dad what has happened?"
"Belle appears to be unconscious. Max drove into her at turn seven so she lost control and flew into the barrier"
my dad tried to stop me from watching what was happening on tv but i managed to get past and what i saw was worse than i had expected. on the screen there was smoke everywhere and the car happened at the barrier in an unnatural way.
I also saw Max trying to help her out and I could hear people saying that they started fighting the clock. apparently the tank had broken which dripped all over the engine and everything else. Max managed to pull her out but I saw that her whole body was lying in an unnatural way and I prayed to God that she would wake up.
after i watched max pull her out of the fire and the car there was only one thing i could think of: where is george. I ran over to the Mercedes with my dad and I didn't see him in the garage I ran up to Lewis.
"where is george"
"I don't know but I think he's in his room" Lewis replied and he had tears in his eyes.
me and my dad thanked and ran to his room and knocked. I heard how the tv was on so I opened it and I saw him on the sofa and tears were running down his cheeks but watching the tv maniacally.
