this weekend it was finally a race again and it would be in Silverstone. I had trained my body to the extreme and tried to train my brain as well because what George had said before was still echoing in my brain.

Max and I had introduced our cats to each other and they worked very well together. Max had almost moved in with me because he was with me so often and he helped me train and prepare.me and george had decided to go to england a little earlier than we had planned to spend time with our family so i was flying today. Max had asked several times if he could stay at my house until he left but when I presented my argument that people would wonder why someone was at my place, he stopped.

George and I had just landed at the airport and our parents were going to pick us up. George had asked a thousand questions about whether I was mentally prepared for the race and I tried to convince him that I was. he seemed persuaded for the moment but I knew he would start asking about it again so I tried to change the subject as quickly as possible.

"is Carmen coming over for dinner?"

"yes if she has time, she has a lot of errands she needs to do"

I sighed because I wanted to be with her but I didn't have time to ask anything more about it because I saw our dad's car pull up next to us. we saw that the passenger seat was empty so George and I started competing to sit in the front. we started pushing each other and tried to run to the door but I accidentally tripped myself with my bag which meant George had to sit in the front.

the drive felt very fast because our dad talked about more fun things they had done and that they had gone to the spa. I told about how nice I had been in St. lucia and what i had done every day. George started rambling on about what he and Carmen had done but I settled down and looked out the window. it had started to rain so I had a race between two raindrops.

Max called me and I panicked and pushed it away immediately, but the two over there had heard and started asking who it was that called me. I didn't know what to say so I said it wasn't important.

Maxie:

why are you clicking me

Belle:

sitting in the car with my brother and dad

can't answer now but will call soon

was it important?

Maxie:

no, not really

bored without you

Belle:

I'll call you right away when I'm home.

I sat and smiled at my mobile, which my brother noticed immediately.
