Hey guys! This is a bonus chapter of Selene learning to fly. Enjoy!

3RD POV

It was a few days after the failed auction raid. The dragons on the Edge were helping Selene learn how to use her new wings and tail. Turquoise flew to Dracom Island and told Thunderstream what Selene had achieved. That got the Stormcutter's attention and she immediately flew towards the Edge. When she saw Selene's upgraded look, she was very thrilled. Now, Selene had a bunch of trainers helping her learn the skill of flight.

Selene's POV

I was at the training arena trying to get up in the air. "Just give your wings a little flap. Get used to the feeling," Thunderstream told me. I nodded my head and somehow managed to flap my wings. I smiled at this. "Very good. Now, flap them a little harder. See if you can get in the air a bit," Crystal spoke. I nodded my head and started to flap my wings a little harder. I was getting off the ground, but I was flapping too hard and went into the air. "Too hard!" Crystal screeched as she flew up and caught me. "Jeez. I feel like na infant all over again," I grumbled as my wings stopped flapping. Crystal flew us back down to the arena to see the other riders there. "Still struggling, huh?" Lillian asked me as she walked over. "Yeah. I've managed to nearly fly straight into four trees, went flying into the sky as you just witnessed and more," I groaned out and fell to the ground on my back. I heard a chuckle and saw Hiccup above me. "Hey, we'll figure this out. Promise," he told me and extended his hand out for mine. I chuckled and took it. Oceansong ran over to us and starts nuzzling against my leg. I chuckled and picked up the little SlitherSong. She was slowly warming up to the other riders and was still a little reluctant about Hiccup. "You'll get it, little one. I believe you're thinking about it too hard. But, is there a place on the Edge where there's a nice constant draft?" Thunderstream asked as she came over. I smiled and nodded my head.

That's where we are now. There was a small canyon towards the east coast of the Edge that had a constant breeze drifting through. "This place is perfect. Now all you have to do, Selene is believe in yourself," Thunderstream told me with a soft nudge. I took a big breath and stepped towards the edge of the cliff. I briefly looked down and saw s river below, but that didn't help my confidence much. "You got this sis," Lillian cheered me on. The other rides started cheering me on, so I took a leap of faith and stepped over the side of the cliff and let myself fall. Feeling the wind rushing against my body felt nice honestly. I then let my head be filled with all the memories I've made with the other riders, reuniting with my little sister, and finding someone who loved me for me. I then felt my wings spread and the next thing I knew, I was flying. I looked down and saw my flying reflection across the river water. "Whoo-hoo!" I cheered as I sped up.

Lillian's POV

We all watched as my sister started to fly. All of us were cheering for her. I saw Oceansong climb onto Crystal who then quickly take off towards Selene with a big smile on her face. "Why are we letting them have all the fun? Let's join in!" I cheered and got on Sandstorm. All of the other riders got on their dragons and we caught up to my sister. 'I'm so happy for you sis. I know someday, I'll join you in the sky.'

3RD POV

All of the riders and the Stormcutter were flying around with Selene in the sky. They were now flying around the Edge"This is amazing! Now I know how you guys feel in the air," Selene smiled as she did a spin. Thunderstream flipped onto her back as she peered down at the others. Thunderstream then tucked in her wings and dove towards the sea. "Wait for us," Selene cheered as she tucked her wings in too. "I'm not being left out!" Crystal cheered and tucked her wings in too. All the other dragons followed their example and were now in a big circle having the time of their lives. "I wish you guys had your own wings. And I hope you get yours soon, sis. The feeling of flying through the air on your own is amazing!" Selene cheered with a big smile. "Me too. I love flying with Sandstorm, but being able to fly alongside her sounds fun," Lillian cheered. Soon, all the dragons pulled up. "It would be an interesting experience to see you fly alongside me instead of my back," Sandstorm chuckled. Let's just say, this gave Hiccup more ideas for his flight suit. Oceansong then gave out a small roar and Selene knew the little SlitherSong wanted to climb onto her back. Selene flew over to Crystal and grabbed the little dragonet. Oceansong climbed onto Selene's back and gave a massive smile.
