Selene's POV

It's been about a week and a half since we freed the Submaripper from Viggo's grasp. He seems to be adjusting well to the Edge, least from what Turquoise has told me. (For those who can't remember, Turquoise is the Terrible Terror from the Worst in Show episode in Defenders of Berk). The riders and I stayed here at Berk to make sure everyone was okay. But it was now the Midnight Sun. Constanst sunlight for two weeks, the most productive time of year. Crystal and I were on the roof of the chief's house watching everyone just go nuts over the lack of sleep. "I'll never get tired of watching humans go crazy over lack of sleep," Crystal chortled with laughter. See during the Midnight Sun, Crystal and I never went crazy. We would just hide in a dark cave and sleep out the two weeks. After learning about my bloodline and heritage also explains why I never had trouble with the Midnight Sun. But, living among humans had its perks. "Yeah. Surprised they haven't found a way around it yet," I chuckled.

Poor Gothi was the worst in my opinion. She's been scribbling nonstop. Most of the village was covered in her writing. Sven had worn out half his flock with dancing, but I consider that pretty normal for him. Stoick has also had to break up multiple fights. Hiccup sent Astrid, Lillian and the others back to the Edge to wash their dragons. I would've gone with them, but I wanted to keep an eye on Hiccup. He seems to be very desperate to one up Viggo after he went after Berk. I trust Lillian to keep an eye on the riders while I keep an eye on my boyfriend. The ones I'm worried about are the dragons. No matter what, they're gonna have to lock their riders away to escape the insomnia of the Midnight Sun. I'm totally gonna have Lillian fill me in on what I missed.

Hiccup, Stoick and I were having a meal together before Hiccup and I left for the Edge. "Dad, I need to talk to you about something," Hiccup spoke. "All right. What's on your mind, son?" Stoick asked his offspring. "I need to borrow the Auxiliary Dragon Riders. I'll have them back before you even know they're gone," Hiccup claimed. Stoick and I shared a knowing look. "Is that right? And, uh, why would you need to borrow my A-team?" Stoick questioned his son. Hiccup made up a lame excuse about wanting to make sure they were still at the top of their games. "Yeah right. You sure this isn't about the Viggo catastrophe, love?" I asked him with a knowing look. "Uh, I'm not sure I follow," Hiccup lied as he stood up and walked towards the door. Crystal stopped him with her tail though. "Oh, I think you follow. I think you follow just fine. Like Selene said, you want to go after Viggo." And Stoick hit the nail right on the head. "Oh boy," Toothless growled and curled up next to Crystal.

"Okay, let's say I did. Could you blame me? He didn't just attack me and the Riders. He went after Berk, after innocent people, Dad. He needs to pay for that," Hiccup proclaimed. I just sighed. His obsession with wanting to get Viggo plus lack of sleep, not a great combo. "What's your plan then, Hiccup? That is, if your father agrees," I spoke and crossed my arms. "My plan, m'lady? Simple. Wipe him and his dragon-hunting psychopaths off the face of the Earth before he can get you or Lillian. Kaboom!" Hiccup emphasized the kaboom portion at the end. "Kaboom, huh. Interestin'. Not many movin' parts, are there? Not much plannin' in your plan," Stoick told his son. "Who needs planning? We have dragons," Hiccup gestured to Toothless and Crystal. The Light Fury glared at the boy. "Yeah right. Like we're going to cooperate with you while you're on the revenge portion of anger," Crystal growled and used her tail to hide her face as she also nuzzled into Toothless. "So this basically boils down to revenge?" Stoick questioned. "See? I knew you'd understand. C'mon Selene," Hiccup spoke and tried to walk out the door, when Stoick stopped him, again.

Stoick cleared his throat and stood up, "Hiccup. There'll be no revenge against Viggo Grimborn." Hiccup definitely didn't like the sound of that. "What? What do you mean? You love revenge. Revenge is your thing. Weren't they going to name you Stoick the Vindictive before... Well, you know," Hiccup spoke. I looked at him with a 'really' look. You never mention Stoick's weight. Ever. "Keep my weight out of this," Stoick scolded his son. "Look, all I'm saying is, if anyone deserves it, Viggo does. And we're the only ones who can exact it," Hiccup argued, trying to get his point across to his dad. Stoick then walked past the dragons and I towards his son. "Perhaps. But what comes after that? Viggo's revenge? Then our revenge on his revenge? It's pointless, Hiccup. Trust me, I know," Stoick told his son. "He has a point," Crystal growled and stretched her limbs. "Dad, since Viggo has had the Dragon Eye, he's use it to enslave hundreds of dragons, to attack me, the riders and the Dracia siblings time and time again. It has to end. I need to get it back," Hiccup spoke and I froze. I tried to not think about the Dragon Eye. It had finally returned to my family and I lost it. Both Toothless and Crystal noticed my demeanor and rubbed up against me. I smiled at the dragons and scratched their heads with love.
