Selene's POV

Another day here at the Edge. Lillian and I stayed behind while the others went to go get some more supplies. Berk's Anniversary celebration was coming up so my sister and I were getting some special effects ready. "Got the Zippleback Gas in the container?" I asked Lillian. "Yep! Thanks to Barf's cooperation. It's amazing that you came up with this thing, sis," Lillian spoke as she gave me the jar. "Not really. It's just a matter of science," I smiled at her. "Let's go see if the others are back yet," Lillian spoke. "Good idea. Especially if we're going to get to meet up with dad. He still wants to come to Berk with us to meet Stoick," I told my sister. Lillian, our dragons and I walked to the clubhouse only to hear this, "just don't let Selene know about this bounty. She'll freak out about it." My eyes widened at this. "Uh, too late," Lillian spoke as all the riders turned to us. "What 'bounty' mister?" I asked Hiccup as I marched up to him. "This one," Ruffnut showed me a piece of parchment. Viggo had placed a bounty of 1,000 gold on Hiccup's head!? "Where's Viggo? He's dead!" I shouted and quickly shredded the paper with my claws. "Hiccup, for the sake of my sister please tell us you're planning to lay low for a while," Lillian told my lover as she put both her hands on my shoulders.  "Sorry Lills, that would be playing right into Viggo's hands. I can't," Hiccup spoke. "Wait, you can't still be planning on going to the party?" Astrid asked the boy.

"It's Berk's 400 year anniversary. You know what my dad would do to me if I missed it?" Hiccup asked. And Snotlout being Snotlout brought up Berk's missing gold. "You had a part in it too Snotlout. Stoick is going to punish all of us, not just Hiccup. Unless, you want me to get Speedy to sting you again?" I asked the viking boy who froze once I mentioned the adolescent Speed Stinger. "We're not kids anymore, Snotlout. He's not gonna "nail me."' Hiccup quoted the last bit. "But love, a crowded, public event is the perfect place for bounty hunters to slip in undetected. It's too dangerous," I told Hiccup while cupping his left cheek in my right hand. Hiccup smiled at me and held my hand in his. "Love, I appreciate the concern, but I can't. I'm not hiding from anyone. We're going to the party," Hiccup declared as he put a hand on Toothless's head. "I'll be right there to protect you," Toothless told his rider. "Well, we better get going then. We're picking up dad along the way," Lillian reminded everyone. We all climbed on our dragons and started to head towards Berk. Luckily, dad was already at the meeting point and he didn't look happy. "Dad, you good?" I asked as Crystal landed on the sea stack. "That Grimborn is dead meat when I see him!" Dad shouted and I saw he held a copy of Hiccup's Bounty. "Are you sure this is a good idea going to the party, kid? Bounty hunters are going to show up there and that is a fact," dad told Hicup what we've already told him. "We've already tried, dad. He's dead set on going," I explained. "Oh, vey," dad sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose with his left hand.

"Dustin, I understand and appreciate the concern, but I can't miss out on Berk's 400 anniversary. Besides, it's time that I face my dad about losing Berk's gold," Hiccup explained to my father. I know he's been very afraid to face Stoick after the auction we stopped, but it wasn't his fault. Viggo played us all. Dad just let out a sigh. "I know. Still gonna beat that man up to a bloody pulp the next time I see him," dad growled and started cracking his knuckles. "Dad, breath," Lillian and I told him. "We better get going," Astrid reminded us. We then all took to the skies. Once we got to Berk, we could see everyone was bustling to get the party ready. Stoick and Gobber were in the plaza and that's where we landed. Stoick's face twisted to anger, but Gobber settled the man down. Hiccup got off Toothless and met his father halfway. The rest of us were just waiting to see how this would play out. "Oh no," Toothless cooed and ran next to Crystal and I, not wanting to be right near the chief of the Hooligan tribe. Stocks eyes fell on his son's down crested face. I could tell Stoick was trying to remain calm and easy. "How's life at the Great Beyond, Son?" Stoick asked. Snotlout quickly got off Hookfang and ran to tell the chief about the gold, again. "Oh no you don't boy," dad growled and quickly threw a dagger right in front of Snotlout's feet. That stopped the Jorgensen boy pretty quickly. "If you value your toes, shut, up!" Dad warned the boy with a smile. Snotlout quickly nodded and ran back to Hookfang. "Remember, son," Stoick started, "the need of the many outweighs the need of the few." Hiccup smiled at his father. Stoick then turned to face dad. "Who is this man?" Stoick asked. Lillian, dad and I got off our dragons and walked up to Stoick. "Stoick, meet mine and Lillian's father, Dustin Dracia. Dad meet Stoick the Vast; Chief of the Hooligan tribe," I introduced the two men. They were roughly the same height and both very masculine. I'd pay good money to see who'd win in a fight.
