(It's gonna get a little gory at the end. If you're not comfortable, I'll let you know when it starts and when it ends.)

Selene's POV
The gang and I were launching a rescue mission against the Dragon Hunters today. Heather had given us some information on their whereabouts. Lillian was laying low for now, I didn't want her sticking her neck out too far. Toothless, Crystal and Hookfang were still the only ones that had armor made for them. Toothless and Hookfang were using the Gronckle Iron recipe, while Crystal was wearing Whitefang's molted scales for armor. It looks better on her in my opinion. "Fishlegs, flaming boulder incoming!" I shouted to the boy and Meatlug caught it pretty easily. Crystal had shot at the archers and they barely got away. "Let's free these dragons, sis," I spoke and she fired a blast at the hatch leading to the cages below deck. Crystal quickly flew in and as she ran through the hall, I was jumping up and yanking the chains, opening the cages. "Follow us, guys," I spoke and all the dragons followed us out of the ship. "Let's get back to the Edge and get these guys some food. The others will wrap this up," I told Crystal. "Alright," she then turned to the dragons we rescued, "follow us. We're gonna get you something to eat." That made the dragons very happy and we all flew back to Dragon's Edge. We were at the infirmary, and the dragons were getting fed. "Ok. Seems like you guys aren't injured, just malnourished," I commented and Crystal helped me pull a few more baskets of fish to the dragons. "Eat up, guys. I'm gonna keep you guys here so I can monitor your health, ok?" I asked them and they all gave smiles and dove back into the fish. "What now?" Crystal asked me as we left the dragons to eat. "I don't know. I want Heather and Lillian out of there. It's way too dangerous for both of them, Lillian especially. If the Dragon Hunters find out she's from the Dracia bloodline, they could use her," I spoke my concerns. Crystal gave me a sad smile and nuzzled into me. "I'm sure your sister will be fine. Besides, Sandstorm is always close to her," Crystal tried to reassure me and I smiled at her efforts. "Thanks, sis," I hugged her head and she nuzzled into me. "Hey," a voice rang out. I let go of Crystal's head and saw Astrid and Hiccup there with Toothless and Stormfly behind them. "Hey," I spoke as Crystal ran over to the dragons and they began to play a bit. "How are the dragons we freed?" Astrid asked me. "They're gonna be fine. They're a little malnourished, but they'll be good as new in a few days. I'm just gonna keep them here so I can monitor their eating. Now, what can I help you two with?" I asked and they told me Heather wants us to meet her at a sea stack. "Let's get going then," I told them and we all climbed on our dragons and took off. It was nighttime when we arrived at the sea stack, and then came Heather and Windshear. "You sure you weren't followed?" Astrid asks the girl as she landed and we walk over to her. "Positive," Heather replied as she climbed off Windshear. Windshear ran over and nuzzled against me, then ran over to our dragons and they began to play.

"Hey Selene. I wanted to apologize about what happened at Glacier Island," Heather spoke with a frown. I just smiled and patted her shoulder. "You're fine, Heather. And to be honest if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have found out about my ancestors. So, we're cool," I told her and she smiled gratefully at me. "Anyway, Viggo suspects Ryker and Dagur. He asked me to go with him to capture the Flightmare. Just me, Windshear and him,"Heather told us. "Flightmare? Why would Virgo want the Flightmare?" Hiccup asked aloud. "Hiccup, you're missing the point," Heather told my lover. "He does that from time to time," I told her with a smile. "N-no I don't," Hiccup tried to protest but I just pecked his cheek. "Look, the point is, it's just me, Viggo and Windshear. The perfect time for an ambush," Heather tried to get her point across. "We get that. But how does Viggo plan to have you three capture the Flightmare?" I asked Heather. "You haven't met Viggo Grimborn. He is a professional Dragon Hunter," Heather told us. "Seems he got something from his ancestors. Oh, I swear I'm gonna make those hunters swallow Fireworm saliva for all eternity," I growled and my friends looked at me like I was crazy. "What? If you'd seen what I'd seen in my memories, you'd agree with me," I protested and they just nodded their heads. "Fair point," Astrid commented. "Anyway, but Heather, you're not gonna actually let him capture it?" Hiccup asked the girl. Heather just scoffed, "of course not. That's where the ambush comes in. You guys show up, grab Viggo and we set the Flightmare back on it's path." She makes it sounds so easy. "But how do we find it? All we know is that the Flightmare follows glowing algae since that is it's food source," I commented and saw our dragons run past us. "Selene is right, it follows a stream of glowing algae as it's food source. Last year, I spent a lot of time tracking it, pinning down it's location every couple of weeks. I know where it should be and I gave that information to Viggo," Heather informed us. "Which makes him trust you even more. Hmm," Hiccup spoke. "Listen, I better get back," Heather then pulled up a sheet of paper, "this is the algae trail. Follow it to here. This is where we'll be," Heather told us, giving me the paper. "So will we," I told her.
