It had been a week since you had woken up from your short coma. The doctors finally deemed you fit to leave the hospital after they had done all the necessary check ups.

So now you were on your way home on a wheelchair which was being pushed by your brother with your parents on either side of you and Sayu telling you about her favorite celebrity crush. It felt really nice. Although you had to be in a wheelchair for at least 5 weeks as recommended by the doctors, you didn't mind after all it's just a few more weeks.

Finally you reached 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦. You carefully examined the entrance to the house, it was in the same condition as what you remembered even though four years of your memories had been so wrongfully wiped, nothing seemed to change well except for your siblings growing taller.

Entering inside, Light took you inside your room while your mother and Sayu went to prepare something for you and your father went to catch up on his work after checking up on you. As you entered your room, you were quick to notice small changes in the room but apart from that everything seemed the same. Light gently and carefully helped you to sit on the bed. He still seemed conflicted and worried.

"Light..? What's wrong?" You asked as Light looked up at you. "Nothing.. It's just.. Nee-chan the person who hurt you..hasn't been caught yet" Light replied as his fists clenched. He sure loves his 𝘕𝘦𝘦-𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯 a lot.
"Light.. What matters is that I'm fine and you heard the doctors right? They said regaining my memories is possible and I can definitely start running after five more weeks" you said gently to comfort Light who only nodded in response and gave you a light hug.
"Well if you need help, just call out to us.." He said as you watched Light disappear from your sight.

You sighed as Light was finally out of sight. You looked around and saw a few papers on your wall that you didn't have any memories of at the moment. They seemed like printed detective spy posters. Right, you had a thing for detectives, in fact you still do. It should not be a surprise since you were so much into deducing information and being highly Intelligent, you studied in a law school for detective work and you're pretty sure that by this time, you are already a 𝘥𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦.

Your attention shifted towards the door as it sprang open to reveal your mother and younger sister. You flashed a genuine soft smile at them and they returned it. They helped you clean up and then fed you some bitter soup. After talking with your mother and Sayu, you felt much lighter and happier. Soon they left your room to let you rest and you appreciated that.

As you lay down and close your eyes in the now dark room, you thought about a few things. Although you knew that your accident was some sort of vehicular accident, your family seemed hesitant on telling you what happened. Perhaps if you asked Light..𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶.

You were correct, just as you had thought it was a trivial matter. It was just a hit and run case as said by Light who also knew you were emotionally strong enough to handle this newfound information, a day after you were just discharged because you asked just now. After all he looked up to you and admired you a lot however it seemed he was still upset about the fact that the perpetrator was yet to be found.

"Nee-chan..?" Light called out to you as you looked up at him.
"Yeah?"
"Say, hypothetically...what would you do if you had the ability to get rid of criminals?"
You looked at him with a calculative gaze, just where was he trying to take this conversation?
"And what would that specific ability be?"
"I don't know...could be anything.."
You smiled
"It's not my place to get rid of criminals".
