Light was super confused as to how he 'dozed off' during work, this had never happened before. L had successfully convinced Light that he had just been working too hard and it's normal for him to doze off.

The girls had also returned from their outing and now they were freshening up in their respective rooms.

L, Light and the rest of the task force started their work diligently after L distributed tasks to each member of the task force.

One member however, was unsatisfied with the tasks he got.

"I want to be useful Ryuzaki!" Matsuda exclaimed.

"You want to be useful?" L asked the young officer as he nodded vigorously.

"Yes!"

"Then...get us all some tea"

The young officer's smile dropped, why could no one take him seriously. Why was he not given important tasks? Did the others think he was incapable of doing 'actual work'? He didn't become an officer just to bring tea to others.

Just then (Y/n) entered the room. Misa was not allowed to enter the meeting room for obvious reasons and also the fact that she was not an official task force member.

𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙥𝙤𝙫

As you entered you smiled at everyone, it was a habit of yours. You swiftly took the seat next to L whilst completely ignoring your brother who had held out the chair next to him for you.

From the corner of your eyes, you saw Matsuda leave the room.

"Where is Matsuda going?" You asked L.

"To get tea" both L and Light said in unison.

They exchanged quick glances towards each other.

"Ah I see" you said simply as you started typing on your computer.

Soon enough Matsuda entered the room looking rather gloomy, with the tea of course. He kept it in the lounge table as he walked towards you all, more specifically L.

Before he could say anything the large screen before us showed a fancy W. Watari.

"Ryuzaki, we have attained access to the yotsuba company cctvs. I will display them on the screen."

"Yes, thank you Watari" L said as he pressed a button and a cctv footage of a confidential meeting started playing.

There were 8 men. All of us carefully watched the screen.

The men were talking as if someone among them was connected to Kira. Someone among them was probably the 3rd Kira, the Kira who got the notebook from the original Kira. It was evident from their conversation that they themselves didn't know who among them possess the powers of Kira.

8 men, 1 is Kira. It won't be hard to find the 3rd Kira and besides he could also lead us to the original and second Kira. Although you knew for a fact that Light is the original Kira, you weren't sure about the second Kira. It could definitely be Misa.

"Misa has modelled for Yotsuba company before maybe we could use her" Mogi suggested.

"We could but it's too quick for that, plus we need miss Amane's consent" L said calmly as he ate a spoonful of cake.

L took another spoonful of cake and brought it towards your mouth. You smiled at him as you accepted the spoonful of cake from him. The rest of the taskforce started looking here and there, everywhere but at the lovers.

"What do you think (Y/n), will miss Amane consent to this" L asked you as the taskforce turned to look at you.

You looked towards Light who was also looking at you.

"Well if it concerns Light then yes"

Now everyone's eyes turned towards the 18 year old.

"...Sure" Light said.
