Just as you had thought, Misa had agreed without any hesitation to act as a bait for the 3rd Kira after she was told it will help Light. You felt kind of guilty but brushed it off quickly.

Matsuda would go along with Misa since he was now her 'manager'. They weren't scheduled to leave until it was extremely necessary.

You were working peacefully with your partner and brother at either sides of you because Light was getting feisty. Matsuda was sent outside to retrieve some documents and stuff and after that he was supposed to pick up Misa from her shoot.

Soon enough Watari walked in the room.

"Ryuzaki, Matsuda has sent emergency signals from his belt"

L looked at Watari.

"It's coming from Yotsuba headquarters"

You were pretty sure that everyone was cursing Matsuda at this very moment.

You looked towards L who also seemed quite pissed off.

"Quick, turn on the screen"

In a matter of seconds the screen turned on and it showed the meeting room of Yotsuba headquarters. The men were interrogating Matsuda who had probably fell into the room.

"Matsuda you idiot" L said as he pulled out one of his burner phones and dialled Matsuda's number and put it on speaker.

"H-hello?"

"Hey buddyy! You by yourself?" L asked in a slightly pitched voice.

You cringed at this demeanor of L.

"Yeah I'm by myself"

"He's not with Misa Amane right now" L whispered to us and then went back to talking on the phone.

"So you wanna go out drinking tonight?"

"O-oh um sorry, I can't today"

"Awh what's the matter?? Don't tell me your wallet is 'in trouble' again!"

"....Yes!! Big troubles with money!"

L understood what was going on and ended the call with a natural response.

"Mogi I need you to contact Misa Amane and fetch her to the site, we have to move" L said as he got up from his chair.

Mogi called Misa and put the phone on speaker for L to hear.

"Yeah I could definitely entertain the men but I would need some girls"

"Do you not have girls at your agency?" L asked not liking where this conversation is going.

"Yes I do, but at such a short notice I can maybe recruit only 3 girls...say can (Y/n) Anee join me?"

"Absolutely not" L and Light said in unison.

"Oh come on, I can't do this with just 3 girls, ANEEE CAN YOU HEAR ME!? PLEASE COME ALONG WITH ME OR I WON'T DO IT!!" Misa said as she suddenly yelled out.

"If she's insisting so much, I could go-"

"Nee-Chan do you know how dangerous those men are!?"

"Light, we are all risking lives here, besides I know self defense"

Light sighed as he turned towards L.

"Ryuzaki you can't agree to this right?"

"We don't have any choice" L sighed.

Soon enough you were all in a car. First they dropped you off to Misa and gave you a few bugs to wiretap yourself.

Misa squealed as she saw you and dragged you inside a changing room.
