I had a long day around the office, and I was tired. I was still in my office, my sore feet plopped on the desk, my shirt was a few buttons down, and my hair was in a messy bun while I was blankly staring at the computer screen in front of me. In the midst of my distress, I heard a knock on the door.

"It's open," I said tiredly.

The door opened, and I saw Blair enter with a smile on his face. "Someone looks like a mess," he said, closing the door behind him.

"Well, your boss never gives me a break," I yawned, reaching for the almost empty cup of coffee.

Blair chuckled as he made his way over to the desk, perching himself on the edge. "You know, you should really take better care of yourself. Burning the midnight oil every night isn't going to do you any justice."

I shot him a half-hearted glare, too tired to summon up any real annoyance. "Easy for you to say, Mr. Perfect Work-Life Balance. Some of us actually have deadlines to meet."

Blair raised an eyebrow, his smile turning slightly mischievous. "Oh, I see how it is. Just because I don't have my feet up on the desk every day means I don't work hard."

I rolled my eyes, taking a sip of the lukewarm coffee and grimacing at the taste. "You know what I mean. You're always so put together, while I'm over here barely holding it together."

He reached out and gently patted my shoulder. "Hey, we all have our moments. But seriously, you should think about taking a break. A burnt-out employee isn't going to do anyone any good."

I nodded slightly, stretching my hands over my head. "I know you're right. It's just... hard to switch off sometimes, you know? There's always something else that needs doing."

"Do you want me to massage your feet? I know it's weird, but maybe you can relax for a minute."

The offer caught me off guard, and I couldn't help but laugh. "Massage my feet? Really, Blair?"

He shrugged, a playful grin on his face. "Hey, desperate times call for desperate measures. And who knows, it might just help you relax."

"Don't you think it's a bit inappropriate for work?"

"I'm not really just helping a friend. Come on," he said, sitting down, taking my feet, and starting to massage his fingers into the sole of my foot.

As Blair's fingers worked their magic on my tired feet, I couldn't help but let out a contented sigh. "Okay, okay, you win. This feels amazing."
