"He's definitely whipped." Triveon told the two and Hale chuckled.

"Not as much as you are." Hale said as Triveon glared at him.

"True. Mild palang iyang kay gangster." Sabay ni Zac at nalukot ang mukha ni Jax na nasa tabi ko.

"Fuck off." Jax rolled his eyes as I laughed.

"Oh diyos ko." Triveon started singing.

"Ano ba naman ito?" Sabay naman ni Zac.

"Diba?" Hale gestured his hand to Jax to finish the song who flipped them off.

"Tangina niyo." He rolled his eyes as we burst out laughing. Dayum sapul na sapul sa lyrics.

"I'm not surprised that the only thing you can say in Tagalog is a curse word." Kako at umirap siya.

"Even you? Really?" He sighed in defeat as I laughed.

"Natapos mo kase iyong lyrics with flying colors eh." Kako at napakunot ang noo niya.

"Really? That's why you guys are always laughing at me?" He asked in disbelief as the guys laughed.

"You just realized now?" Hale asked bluntly as he nodded.

"Well, yeah. I mean, I thought it was because my reaction was epic." Jax shrugged as I looked at him in disbelief.

"Ayan na naman iyang pagka-assuming mo." I sighed as he pouted.

He lied his head on my shoulder and when I was about to push him off he caught my hand and my heart started to beat in an abnormal pace at the touch of his hand in mine. "Let me for now, Aree. Have conscience, I'm being bullied." He dramatically said.

Napatawa naman ako. "OA mo naman masyado." Natatawang sabi ko bago ko binawi ang kamay ko mula sakaniya. His touch are affecting me too much now.

Triveon looked at Jax in disbelief. "Damn, down bad si pare. Everyone in the group should know this." He said still in disbelief.

Zac squinted his eyes at me. "I think kinulam mo siya." He accused.

I frowned at his statement. Ako? Kukulamin si Jax? Kung hindi ko siguro nalaman na babaero sige pwede pa pero hindi naman ako ganoon kababa ano?

"Kakain nalang ako ng atay ng manok—I hate that food— kaysa sa isipin na ipakulam etong babaerong ito." I pointed to Jax, who was leaning on my shoulder pouting.

"Harsh." He muttered and he looked at me with pain playing in his eyes as I shrugged.

Triveon then gasped dramatically and pointed to Jax. "Baka skin walker or doppelganger!" He exclaimed.

Jax rolled his eyes before lifting his head from my shoulder. "I'm Jax. Jax Ferrer, no sorcery, not a doppelganger, not a skin walker either." He rolled his eyes. "At least I'm not as down bad as Hale is. Having a crush for almost your whole life and you only spent one summer with her." He scoffed.

Hale rolled his eyes before looking at Jax lazily. "Careful, dude. Sa summer din kayo nagsimula." Hale smirked as Jax sighed.

"Tara na nga. Mamaya magduda na talaga ako kung si Jax ba talaga iyan o hindi." Triveon stood up and proceeded to the counter to pay.

I was about to stand up when Jax pulled me back to my seat. "Am I different when it comes to you?" Tanong niya.

Napakibit balikat naman ako. "Hindi ko alam. Pero baka oo kase sinasabi ng mga kaibigan mo." Kako at ngumuso siya.

"Is that proof still not enough?" He asked. "They've known me my whole life, Aree. And they said I'm really down bad." He said pouting.

I smiled sincerely. "Napag-usapan na natin ito diba?" I asked. "You have one summer to prove to me that you really love me. With your actions. Anong gagawin ko sa mga sinasabi mo kapag hindi mo naman naipapakita diba?"

He suddenly smiled. "Okay, I'll try to make my actions more clearer to convince you enough." He smiled brightly and my eyes widened when I saw something unexpected.

Dimples.

"Doesn't my eyes show enough though?" He pouted as I grinned and pinched his nose between my index and my middle finger.

"Your eyes are really beautiful and all I do is to admire them whenever I see them that I don't pay attention to the emotions displayed at all." I said truthfully as his jaw dropped at my sudden confession.

It was true though, his eyes are very deep that I just want to get lost in it sometimes. His eyes represents the ocean that calms me the most that I just can't help but to stop and look at his eyes and just admire them.

"Tara na." Sabi ni Triveon kaya tumayo na ako.

We decided to walk kase malapit naman na raw iyong mall dito. They said that it's just a 5-minute walk.

Zac suddenly walked beside me. "We rarely see Jax like this, so, excuse our reactions earlier. Hindi pa namin nakita ang gago na magseryoso eh." He uttered.

Napatingin ako sakaniya. "Bakit? How does he act normally?" I asked.

"Jax believes that it's fine to play around with women until you find the right woman. He believes that it's alright to have fun and fuck around—not literally fuck though—until he finds his the one. He maybe such an asshole for that but the dude still believes that he will find the one." He laughed. "He told us one time too before that if he will be in love, there will be signs, and there was. He stopped playing around after summer, we asked him about it and he told every single thing about you. How he found you so fascinating and such. When he wouldn't shut up about you, that's when we knew that he was down bad. Those were the signs that he was talking about."

Zac then smiled at me. "Jax's eyes never lie, Desiree. Look deeply in his eyes and you'll see the emotions he has for you. His face may not show it but his eyes will. Believe me when I say that his eyes only looks at you with five emotions." He grinned.

Napakunot naman ang noo ko. "Ano naman iyon?" Tanong ko.

"His eyes look at you with deep love, adoration, amusement, hope, and sometimes pain." Sabi niya at napanguso naman ako.

A hand suddenly held mine and I frowned and snapped my head to the person.

Jax.

"What do you want?" I asked as he pouted.

"Hello, bubs. Quick question." He smiled brightly and his dimples appeared again.

"What is it?" Tanong ko at babawiin na sana ang kamay ko pero mas hinigpitan pa niya ang pagkakahawak niya roon.

"What does aking sinta mean?" He asked. Nakakatawa talaga ang accent netong lalaking ito.

"My darling ata. Bakit?" I hesitantly answered.

"Oh. Thanks, bubs." He grinned before facing Triveon.

"You're very cringe, Xiv." He rolled his eyes as Triveon laughed.

"Bromance, bro, bromance." Triveon winked as Jax cringed.

"Very cringe. Don't repeat it again. It makes me uncomfortable." Jax rolled his eyes as I laughed.

"Bakit hindi ka nalang nag-google translate?" Tanong ko sakaniya at umirap siya.

"I told you Google translate is not trustworthy, bubs." He frowned as I laughed.

"Stop with the pet names, Jax." Kako at napakunot ang noo niya.

"You don't like it?" Tanong niya at umiling ako.

"No, I prefer Aree." Kako at ngumuso siya.

"How about love?" He asked as I frowned.

"Ha?"

"Love you."
