Chapter 38

"Gangster." Desiree muttered.

What? Me? Gangster? Like, me? Is she talking to me?

"Excuse me?" I asked, confirming if I heard her right.

She smiled. "Gangster ka." She repeated and my eye almost twitched in annoyance. How dare she?

"Me? Gangster? That's fucking offensive." I scoffed. "Since when did you see a gangster this handsome?" I pointed to my face.

She grimaced and mumbled something. I'm pretty sure that she just insulted me. She looked at me like I'm some sort of an asshole. I mean, I maybe am but no one's ever looked at me that way.

"Okay, Jax."

I unconsciously smiled. "Damn that sounds so good." I muttered under my breath.

"My tutor called me gangster." I told the three.

Hale smirked. "Sosyal, blue eyes na gangster." He said laughing.

I frowned. "I'm not a gangster. Have you ever seen a gangster this handsome? I'd rather be a model." I rolled my eyes.

"Tutor? Para saan?" Zac asked.

Ace smiled. "To teach him the language here. But it was just an excuse to keep him busy so that he won't go around flirting with random girls." He answered for me.

"You're saying that your Mom hired a tutor?" Triveon asked.

I shook my head. "Not hire because she's doing it for free. It's more like she asked her." I replied.

Zac chuckled. "Ayan kase, laro-laro pa." He said laughing.

Triveon shrugged. "Buti naman at hindi pa ginawa ni Mommy iyan." He sighed.

Hale looked at him. "Ampon ka ba?" Hale asked.

Triveon gasped. "Ang bastos mo!" He pointed to Hale.

Hale just shrugged. "Ang tino ng mga pinsan mo e. Pati si Tyler napakatino. Saan ka pinulot nila Tita?" He said. That actually makes sense.

I nodded in agreement with Hale. "Your eyes are also green. No one among your cousins and your brother even has green eyes." I said.

He rolled his eyes. "My cousin, Orianthi, has green eyes. Our great grandfather also has green eyes. Makes sense?" He explained.

Zac tilted his head. "Why do you wear contacts, though? You should flaunt it like how Jax flaunts his eyes." He said and I frowned.

"I don't flaunt my eyes." I denied. I don't think I do.

Hale shrugged. "By just simply opening your eyes, you're basically flaunting it." He said.

My jaw dropped. "The fuck you want me to do then? Close my eyes and walk like a blind man?" I said annoyed.

"Totoo ba na lahat ng tao na blue ang mata related?" Triveon asked me.

I frowned. "I don't know." I truthfully answered.

He looked at me in disbelief. "Akala ko ba magaling ka?" He said annoyed. "Bakit hindi mo alam?" He added.

I glared at him. "I'm smart, yes." I agreed to his first sentence. "But that doesn't mean that I know every single thing in this world you piece of ass! What the fuck do you think am I?! Artificial intelligence? Google? Wikipedia? A dictionary? An encyclopedia?! Of course I won't know every thing you ask me just because I'm smart!" I angrily said.

He scoffed. "E'di sorry! Nagagalit kaagad e. May anger issues ka?!" He also yelled.

"Why are you guys shouting?" Ace asked beside me.
