Over the past six months, Erasure kept coming to the green bean cafe every morning soon after it opened. He occasionally brought Mic and Midnight, but more often than not he came alone. Izuku started to get a little more comfortable with being around them, but he was still incredibly nervous and would try his absolute best not to engage in conversation with them. The only issue with that plan was Mai, but Izuku couldn't really do anything about that, seeing she was his boss.
The group chat was also going pretty well, and Izuku quickly became the chat's cinnamon roll. It was nice to know that there were people out there who actually wanted to be friends with him instead of hurting the boy in some way. Izuku was sure that would change when they found out he was quirkless, so he never told them. They probably would've found out eventually, but Izuku tried to keep that secret for as long as possible.
Speaking of the group chat, Izuku finished work one day to a whole bunch of messages. He must not have noticed since his phone was on silent.

BroccoliBunny: The only department I would consider applying for is the support department, but I don't think I meet the age requirement.
BroccoliBunny: Also, that school is full of pro heroes.
BroccoliBunny: I would probably faint halfway through the exam!
IGiveSleep: Okay, just how much do you like heroes?

AmScreech: Why not the hero course?
BroccoliBunny: I'm not exactly suited for heroism.
TheVerySleepyCatapillar: you told us what happened with you and erasure and i think youd be fine.
KissKissAllBetter: Is it a quirk issue?
BroccoliBunny: Yeah, pretty much.
Ratatouille: I'm sure you'll be fine no matter what quirk you have.
BroccoliBunny: Even if I did buy some miracle pass the practical exam and made it through three years of school, I don't think society would accept a hero like me.
RipOffFNaF: Why not?
BroccoliBunny:... I'd rather not talk about it.
TheVerySleepyCatapillar: kid, if you think we will judge you because of a quirk you couldnt be more wrong.
BroccoliBunny: Thanks, but still no.
MrMaker: If you'd rather join the support course, that's fine too.
Ratatouille: I agree, the support course is still quite good.
Ratatouille: I'm sure you'd enjoy it.
BroccoliBunny: I'll think about it, but there's still three weeks until the exam.
