What if Izuku was a vigilante? What if his parents either died or abandoned him? What if he had to work in a cafe just to support himself? What if a certain sleep deprived coffee addict was hunting the vigilante Oleander and went to their cafe? What...
Izuku wanted to start training for the sports festival as soon as he got home, but the idea was immediately shot down by Mic since he knew Recovery Girl would beat the crap out of him if she found out Izuku was training with his casts on. Izuku was certain he didn't need them anymore, but she went a bit overboard with the treatment on both Izuku and Erasure. Man, that woman would keep you in a wheelchair for a a month because of stubbed toe without you being able to get out of it because of that cane.
So, Izuku did the most reasonable thing his eleven year old brain could come up with and find out how to both remove a cast by himself, and put it on again later without anybody knowing the difference. It helped that he finished my homework quicker than normal so he had an excuse to stay in his room, and he had a basic understanding of casts from experience and knew what to look for. It definitely made things quicker when he wasn't just searching up random stuff.
After about half an hour, Izuku knew how to safely get a cast off by myself. Now he just had to learn how to do it without waking a certain caterpillar. That took a bit more effort, probably because not many people needed to quietly remove a cast so there weren't many tests on it, but he managed. By the time he figured out the last step of putting the cast back on and removing any traces of tampering, Mic called him down for dinner.
Izuku closed his laptop and put it on his bedside table while wondering whether or not it was a good thing Izuku was starting to get used to the routine he had developed while staying there. Izuku forgot about that feeling when I saw three bowls of katsudon on the table, one that he assumed was his since the bowl was significantly smaller. Yeah, getting used to living there was fine.
It was definitely safer than an abandoned apartment, he had several run ins with villains on the run or homeless people who were more than happy to fight for territory. Not to mention Izuku didn't know what he was doing when it came to injuries. He was also healthier here, he had been eating more and he'd been able to get more than four hours of sleep each night. Kind of. His sleep schedule still needed more time to adjust. Especially since he was making a new one, staring tonight.
The three of them ate dinner, which was delicious and Izuku loved it, with mostly just Mic ranting about his students. Izuku let Mic take his dishes when he was done before telling them he was off to bed. Shota looked a bit sceptical since he knew about Izuku's previous sleep schedule, but Izuku just said Ectoplasm and Cementoss had given him extra homework. They actually did but Izuku finished early anyway, but Shota didn't need to know that.
Izuku did a little bit of hacking to check the crime rates in my territory to make sure nobody was getting too cocky, but everyone kinda just assumed Oleander was dead and the amount of thugs and villains just exploded. Izuku mentally groaned. He was going to have to work overtime, wasn't he?
Izuku sighed before putting his laptop away, setting an alarm on his phone and making sure he had an earbud in so only he could hear it when it went off. Izuku then went to bed and did his very best to go to sleep, being surprised when his body actually listened to him for once.

... There are 21 of these all over the house. The second photo is apparently her favourite because of course it is. Well, I'll see you next chapter?
