Izuku practically ran through the halls of the stadium, not wanting to miss the first match. However, after rushing around a corner, he suddenly ran into.. a wall? He thought he'd memorised the entire building, but maybe he just got too excited and didn't take care to make sure he was going the right way.

He fell backwards, landing on his behind with a slight wince. Looking up, he saw that it was, indeed, not a wall, but the number two hero. At any other time, he probably would've pulled out his notebook and immediately started fanboying, but he didn't feel like that was appropriate in this situation. Especially with Endeavour staring down at him like he was a piece of rubbish that be incinerated.

Izuku's other response was to immediately resort to violence - it was never the answer, but always the solution - but he didn't want to risk angering the man. Nor did he want the stadium to burn down. Though, those were practically the same.

Izuku stood up, a mock apologetic smile on his face as he held up his hands placatingly.

"Sorry for running into you, sir. I wasn't really looking where I was going," Izuku let out a nervous chuckle, trying to play the innocent card. "Well, I best get go-" he was cut off by Endeavour, the man not actually caring.

"Aizawa Izuku, correct?"

Izuku paused for a moment, a more serious expression crossing his face as he nodded. Endeavour scoffed, crossing his arms over his chest.

"My son had told me a lot about you, especially your 'feats' at the USJ," Endeavour started, a slight sneer on his face. Izuku froze for just a moment, processing the information. Usually, he wouldn't have particularly cared if someone said they'd heard him do something. Though, while he knew he was fine right now, it still just felt so incredibly wrong to hear someone say something like that while he wasn't in his vigilante persona.

Also, why had Todoroki given him that information? Yes, students were expected to give their caretakers information regarding the USJ incident to ease their minds, but that part was meant to be classified. The reports said that All Might had saved everyone, single handedly stopping the Nomu and helping the heroes with the villains. Endeavour was the last person Izuku wanted with that information, since he was both smart enough to eventually work out the connection between Izuku and Oleander, yet dumb enough to not care about the rules on the amount of damage one could do to a villain or vigilante for capture.

When Izuku didn't answer immediately, Endeavour continued on, quirking an eyebrow.

"I didn't think you'd look so much like a twig. How old are you? Eight? I'm starting to think my son just made everything up so I'd pay more attention to him or some other crap." Okay, that made Izuku's expression struggle not to shift into a scowl.

He didn't particularly care what insults were thrown at him. The fact that Endeavour thought he was eight stung a bit, but he could walk it off. However, he did not say that about Todoroki.

Izuku and Todoroki hadn't interacted much, and they were far from friends, but from what Izuku had seen, he seemed like a good kid. Yes, he lacked any form of manners or respect, but he was kind whenever they interacted. Okay, that might have just been him not wanting to talk, but Izuku thought it was better than talking his ear off. Only he was allowed to do that.

And, the fact that Endeavour immediately saw him as an attention seeker didn't sit right with Izuku. That was his son. If he'd done plenty of things to gain the man's attention to the point where it was easy to assume that's why he did something, then that said something about the parent's attitude towards their kid. Though, Todoroki didn't seem like the type to do that, anyway. So, maybe Endeavour had another kid who always sought his attention? Izuku didn't know, but it definitely didn't sit right with him. He could probably mention that to Nezu at some point.

"I-I assure you, I didn't do much during that. I was trapped on a boat with two other students. They can vouch for me, as well as Erasure Head and All Might," Izuku stated with a forced stutter, trying to steer the hero away from the line of thought that he could do something like defeat a Nomu. While Endeavour didn't seem fully convinced, he dropped the topic. However, Izuku wasn't sure if he liked the new one much better.

"Well, whether or not you did manage it, you still can't defeat my Shoto. He was created to defeat All Might, and you're nothing but a runt," Endeavour sneered, turning his nose up slightly. That also didn't sit right with Izuku.

The fact that Endeavour said that Todoroki was his, intentionally or not, was definitely concerning. It was like he only saw his son as nothing but an object, a tool to be used. And, on that note, one meant to overpower the number one hero. And, his wording didn't seem fully friendly. What did he mean, "created"? If he seriously had a kid just for that sole purpose, then that was a serious red flag.

It also made Izuku wonder about some of the rumours he'd heard about the number two. Apparently, someone had told him that he had four children, but the eldest was dead. His wife was also in a mental institution, as he claimed she was too mentally ill to take care of their kids. Maybe Endeavour was the mentally ill one the entire time, if he was the cause of those two incidents.

Izuku took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down enough that he wouldn't lash out at the man. He didn't have any evidence. Yet. He could still bring it up with Nezu, probably the other staff as well. He didn't trust the man one bit, especially if he was doing what Izuku thought he was doing.

"You might be right about that. Though, please trust me when I say this," Izuku replied calmly, clenching his hand into a fist. "I will do my best to win." Endeavour rolled his eyes, but walked off anyway. Well, stomped off. The man was built like a truck.

Izuku let out a sigh, partially from relief and partially from exasperation. He started to walk to where his class was seated, already going over what he'd just learnt in his head so he could tell Nezu.

Notes

Hello. Endeavour slander, yeah! There is only deprecation here, no appreciation for the angry fire guy! By the way, some guy in my sister's class drew this, and I wanted to show you guys.

Sukuna! Not my favourite, but still up there. He's now on my wall, always watching me sleep. No, I do not simp for him, he just has a well designed character. A horrible personality, but well designed. See you next chapter!
