Izuku glanced up at the massive tv precariously hanging above the crowd of onlookers, trying to find his first match.

(I'm too lazy to describe the matchups, so you get this instead.)

Everyone split off to do whatever they planned to do. Izuku didn't really want to participate in the recreational games and run the risk of being spotted by Kacchan, but he also didn't really need to relax or calm down. It probably would've been better for his opponents sanity if he did, but that was only a probability.

As Izuku was off to his destination, he walked through the cafeteria. He spotted a group of girls talking to Mineta and Kaminari, but didn't really think much of it until Mineta pointed to another group of girls in cheerleader outfits. He quickly connected the pieces and decided to intervene before anything bad happened.

"... wants you all to wear those for the recreational games," Mineta was finishing up as Izuku got nearer.

"Who wants them to wear what?" Izuku asked when he was right behind the midget, startling both Mineta and Kaminari and causing them to spin on their heels to face him. Mineta stuttered and fidgeted with his hands, avoiding eye contact with Izuku. It was almost surprising that even Izuku was taller than him, despite Mineta being four years older.

"He said Aizawa-sensei wanted us to wear those cheerleader outfits," Yaoyorozu supplied, starting to look unconvinced. Izuku's jaw hung open at the words. There was no way in hell that Shota would've ever asked his students to wear something so... revealing.

"Yeah, no," Izuku replied slowly. "I live with Shota, and never have I once seen or heard him say anything like that. He would've wanted you all to wear something you're comfortable in, not... that," he gestured to the costumes with disgust.

"Is that so?" Ashido asked with her hands on her hips, looking very annoyed at the purple and blonde boys.

"N-n-no!" Kaminari waved his hands around, unaware this was a battle he'd already lost. "H-he really said you need to wear those! You and us will all get in trouble if you don't!" Izuku pinched the bridge of his nose with a sigh.

"I can always call him if needed, but he'll be super annoyed if he's in the middle of a nap," Izuku offered while pulling out his phone, giving a small grin when Kaminari and Mineta paled.

"Y-you, know," Mineta stuttered, "maybe we shouldn't bother him. Why don't you guys continue doing whatever you were just doing and me and Kaminari will go do whatever we're meant to be doing." True to his word, Mineta and Kaminari left, nearly tripping over their feet numerous times.

"Thanks, Aizawa-kun!" Uraraka exclaimed, a bright smile decorating her features. "We don't know what would've happened if we believed him."

"It probably would've been pretty embarrassing, kero," Asui mused, a finger on her chin.
