Izuku stood up, following the smaller crowd of students as they all flocked to Midnight. Only the top forty had passed the first round, and the rest were all either taken to the infirmary or directed to head to their seats and observe the rest of the festival.
Midnight didn't dally as she continued with her role, announcing the second round of the festival. A calvary battle. Each team would have two to four people, with one person on top acting as the rider while their teammates acted as a horse. Headbands would be given to each team, each being worth a different amount of points depending on what place in the first round the team members came in. The goal of the calvary battle was to collect as many points as possible by snatching headbands form other teams while protecting your own. By the end of ten minutes, the top four teams would proceed to the third round.
Soon, Midnight told the students they would have fifteen minutes to find teammates and organise a plan. Izuku looked at the 39 other people around him and thought carefully. He definitely had to be the rider, seeing as he was too short to be a horse. He wanted to have people he knew and trusted, but that was almost nobody. In the end, he was in a team with himself on top, Uraraka from class 1-A in front, and Hatsume and Takara in the back.
After his team was assembled and had a plan, Izuku looked around at the other teams to see who they were up against. Ashido, Sero, Kirishima,and Kacchan were in a team, with Kacchan on top, Kirishima in the front and Sero and Ashido in the back. Todoroki, Kaminari, Tokoyami, and Iida were in another team, with Todoroki on top, Iida in front and the other two were in the back. They were getting roller blades from the third team, Shinso from general studies on top, Nirengeki from class 1-B and Ojiro in the back and Yaoyorozu in front. Ojiro and Nirengeki were both just standing still as statues without talking, so Izuku guessed there was some kind control going on.
Tetsutetsu, Shiozaki, Kendo, and Monoma were on another team. Tetsutetsu and Shiozaki were in the back, and Monoma and Kendo were arguing who would be the rider. The last team Izuku took notice of was Shoji's. The teen had created several arms and had weaved them together over his back, so Izuku guessed that there was one or more people inside. It was actually a pretty smart tactic, making it a lot harder to grab their headband while, depending on who was inside, making it easier to grab everyone else's.
Izuku was pulled out of his thoughts by a blaring noise over the loudspeakers, signalling the start of the second round. He was going to have fun.

Hello, sorry about the short chapter. Stuff came up, paired with writer's block and a hint of laziness and not really being in the mood to write, and I don't think I'm going to be able to finish this tonight. Over the next few days I will be too busy to even attempt to write anything, so don't expect anything. Also, A or B? You will get no context as to what either option will mean, but it's for another book that has yet to be published that I'm also a bit stuck with. Well, see you next chapter, whenever that may be!
