Dorothea woke up with a headache although she had not been drinking with Elvira, Fred and Cedric. She groaned at the thought of facing any of her housemates. Pushing her curtains back, the witch noticed that Elvira's bed was empty.

"Is she okay?" Priscilla's voice asked quietly from the other side of the room.

Dorothea pushed back her other curtain and sat up, looking at where Priscilla and Lilith sat together in bed, both looking equally guilty.

"No idea, she was with Diggory."

"But was she okay?" Lilith asked, "after... all that?"

"Yeah," Dorothea said carefully. "She was just frustrated, she doesn't think like that."

"It's easy to forget she's a halfblood," Priscilla nodded. "And to forget how lucky we are."

Dorothea's stomach twisted but she forced a half-smile, "well, Vira is privileged too. She's ridiculously smart and-"

"I just meant lucky that we don't ever have to think about blood," she interrupted calmly. "Or worry about how we're perceived. I don't care that Vira is a halfblood, obviously."

"Me either," Lilith said, shaking her head. "Camille went too far. Not with George, that's her opinions. But saying all that in front of everyone..."

"It was just embarrassing," Priscilla confirmed. "A few days ago she was all over Weasley."

Dorothea nodded thankfully and looked at Leila's empty bed. The girl had been laughing along with Adrian last night, but the Weasleys were supposedly her friends.

"Suppose we ought to go to breakfast and locate Vi?" Dorothea asked, looking at the two girls.

In the Great Hall, George Weasley was glaring at Camille Rosier, who was glaring at Dorothea Rosier, who was shaking her head at Cedric Diggory. Elvira sat on the Hufflepuff table, along with the Weasley twins, and for once Dorothea could say that she didn't blame her. She more cared about Cedric Diggory being an arse.

Camile, for once, had decided to stick with Beauxbatons. Lilith had whispered that apparently the Slytherin boys had all ignored her in the morning, had a change of heart over how they reacted. Dorothea was sure that it had much more to do with her display of wandless magic, a Clementine-esque reminder of who had more power.

Ezra was grinning from ear to ear when he strolled into the great hall, ignoring Camille waving at him and heading straight to Dorothea, putting an arm around her, and kissing her on the cheek. Lilith and Priscilla grinned at Dorothea, subtly winking.

"It's a lovely day," Ezra grinned. "Picnic in the grounds?"

Dorothea internally sighed, she had agreed to spend the day with Ezra.

She forced a smile, looking up at his eager grin, "sure, sounds good."

"Then, Ravenclaw tonight," he said, looking for confirming nods from other housemates.

Dorothea nodded and smiled, mimicking the same eagerness for Leila and Stefan's joint birthday party.

"I'm gonna tell Camille not to come," Ezra muttered to her, bending down and speaking quietly into her ear. "Want you to enjoy your night."

The witch's heart fell a little. Ezra was always good to her. She smiled at him and squeezed his hand where it rested on her shoulder.

"Thanks, Nott."

"Is Elvira alright?"

Dorothea turned around and looked at where Elvira sat, now joined by the twins and Oliver Wood, laughing.
