Molly Weasley handed the letter from Fred to Arthur after reading it, a slight frown occupying her face. Her husband read it the same and sighed, not knowing what the proper course of action should be. Fred had said that Dorothea wanted out of her world, wanted to get away from her mother, away from Ezra Nott. He had pleaded with them for a safe house, or to talk to aurors about her. The Weasley parents were in two minds. On the one hand, both had witnessed what Clementine Rosier did to her daughter, and of course utterly felt for the girl, but their prejudices against the Rosier family were hard to be rid of.

Arthur looked to his wife, "I think we should help."

Molly sighed and shook her head, "I really don't know, we don't know this witch at all. We did, however, know her mother, and we know exactly what she was capable of."

"Fred knows her, though."

Molly looked pained, "just as Fabian thought he knew Clementine, I suppose?"

Arthur nodded, "I expected you to say that."

Fabian Prewett, Molly's brother, had been a couple of years older than Clementine Rosier in school. Their friendship was little known knowledge, but the pair had become friendly on the quidditch pitch, with Fabian eventually coming to trust Clementine quite well. He'd been hurt when she got the dark mark, following her endless promises that she wasn't like that, and in the end, wrote to her with a plan of helping her to escape her family. Shortly after, himself and Gideon were murdered by Evan Rosier and his friends.

"My brother made the mistake of trusting a Rosier," Molly said quietly. "I'm sure she promised him similar things. I can't watch my son do the same thing."

"Dorothea really doesn't seem anything like Clementine, though."

"Arthur," Molly spoke softly, "just as Fabian said that Clementine was nothing like Evan."

"If we don't trust at all how do we help anyone?"

Molly sighed, "I'm not sure, I think Dumbledore is the best person to approach about this."

"The boys will be in the order soon," Arthur said. "It won't be up to us, anyway."

"So let Fred approach Alastor about it," Molly said, speaking quickly. "I just- I can't. I'm sorry. I gave Fabian the benefit of the doubt, and look where it got him. I can't do it again."

Arthur frowned a little but nodded, "okay, my dear, I'll reply to Fred. Can I tell him now, about Fabian? Maybe he'll understand more."

Son,

Your Mother and I have discussed your letter at length, regarding Dorothea Rosier. I must tell you before you yourself make any rash decisions, your mother's brother, Fabian, he was good friends with Clementine Rosier, it started in their last couple of years at Hogwarts. Fabian trusted Clementine with everything, reassuring his sister, your mother, that she was different to her brother, to her parents. In the end, as you know, Fabian and Gideon were killed by Evan Rosier and Antonin Dolohov, the latter having escaped a few months ago. Your mother, understandably, finds it hard to trust a Rosier. Fabian thought he knew Clementine too, you see. I trust your judgment son, and I too believe that Dorothea is nothing like her mother. But still, you will be a part of the order soon enough, and we urge you to approach aurors yourself, or indeed, speak to Dumbledore about the witch - even better if you can get her to go with you. I'm sorry I can't be of more help, but your mother is worried.

Please stay safe, and out of trouble.

Enjoy celebrating your birthday.
