Dorothea let Fred pull her into a cupboard, pulling the door shut behind them. The girl couldn't help but laugh a little at their situation. The wizard stood next to her, his arm pressed against hers, and elbowed her in the side, shushing her with a grin on his face. Dorothea pushed the door open slightly, a crack forming in the door providing a small view of the boy's dorm. When Elvira and Oliver stumbled in, clutching each other, Dorothea whipped around, mouth open, and stared at Fred in the darkness. The wizard grabbed her shoulder and shook her in excitement, Dorothea stifled a laugh and covered her mouth.
"Enjoying the party?" Elvira asked Oliver.
The boy laughed, "more now."
"Me too," she smiled.
When Dorothea gasped Fred mouthed, "What! I can't see!"
The witch took his forearm and pulled him towards her gently, positioning him a little in front of her where he could see through the small crack that Dorothea had made. They couldn't hear what the pair were saying, but Elvira and Oliver were looking at each other, both looking a little unsure, but with telling smiles on their faces.
As soon as Elvira leant up to Oliver and pressed her mouth to his, Fred leapt out of the cupboard, cheering, his drink going all over George's bed. The pair leapt apart, Oliver looking incredibly annoyed, Elvira doubled over, laughing.
"Oh my God, you terrified me - Thea?"
Dorothea groaned and followed Fred out of the cupboard, "you're a fucking idiot, Weasley."
"Sorry," he said, turning around to look at her, holding his hands up, "did you want to stay in there and perv on them?"
"Hello, Dorothea," Oliver said, his annoyed expression fading into a smirk. "Enjoying the party?"
"Not as much as you, Wood," she replied sweetly.
"Not sure, locked in a cupboard with Fred Weasley, a lot of girls would like to be in that situation."
"True," Fred said seriously, nodding and pointing at his friend.
Elvira giggled and looked to her friend, "why are you in here... in there?"
Oliver grinned and wrapped an arm around Elvira's shoulders, a sudden confidence overcoming him, "great question, Vira."
"He was showing me his stupid inventions-"
Fred shook his head, clearly slightly drunk, "sorry, Thea, I won't have that. You were incredibly impressed."
Dorothea ignored the wizard and smiled at Oliver and Elvira, "well, we'll leave you to it!"
"I wanted another drink, actually," the girl said, looking to Oliver, feeling that any romantic moment was ruined, "I'll come back up, want one?"
"Sure," he replied, tackling Fred onto the floor as the friends laughed.
Once Dorothea and Elvira had closed the door, the dark haired girl clung onto her friend, swooning.
"Oh my god, thought it would never happen."
Dorothea grinned and held onto her friend, "it's good to see you this happy. Oliver's a nice guy."
"I know," she said, smiling dreamily, beginning to walk down the stairs but then turning around to lightly slap Dorothea on the arm. "But, Thea, you, up there, with Fred?"
"Genuinely just showing me his inventions," she replied, stopping behind her.
Elvira giggled and took a sip of her drink, looking mischievously up at her friend, "Ollie reckons he fancies you."
