"Ok, what time tonight?" I ask Lando

"I don't even really know." He says and we walk out of the paddock

"The place opens at 8 and it's 6:30 now so I'd say we leave by 8:30" he says and I nod

"Okay, what time is everyone else getting there?" I ask him and he shrugs

"Not a clue, whenever they want I guess." He says and we get into the car

"Oh warning, Charles did say yes to coming and he's bringing Alex." He says

"I don't even care, is that bad? Like am I still supposed to care?" I ask and he shakes his head

"It's however your brain processes it, you could just still be in denial." He says and I shake my head

"No don't say that, there's like 10000 other steps after that" I groan and he laughs

"Just stick with me all night and you'll be alright. And don't scurry off because whenever you do that he does too." He adds

"That's true." I say

"What are you gonna wear?" He asks

"Eh, maybe this top I'm wearing now and I'll just switch to jeans or something." I shrug

"I'll match you." He chuckles

"You know if we keep doing couple things, people will think we're a couple." I laugh

"We will just have to deny deny deny. But that reminds me, read me the new posts on you updated account, I haven't had the time to check."he instructs and I pull out my phone and go to the account

"When was the last you checked?" I ask

"Zandvoort, right after the race I saw the post recent post" he says

"Okay well there was a lot I'll read them all: Maggie is back in Monaco, spotted by fans out with one of her close friends Freya. Then, Maggie posted a picture of the beach in Barcelona, keep in mind she's been spotted numerous times with João Felix current Atletico Madrid foward who has been linked with the Football Club Barcelona. The next one is: Spotted, Magnolia Carter and Joao Felix leaving a restaurant together in Barcelona. Possible soft launch incoming? And the rest were from this weekend." I say

"Why did they go from Maggie to Magnolia Carter?"
He asks

"Uh that post was shared with some football wags one so I guess formality." I suggest

"Oh that makes since" he says

The night had been going fine, I stayed with lando for the first half but I was currently sitting at the bar with Lily pondering over a text from João.

"What are you asking?" She asks me

"He just said I hear it's your birthday in a few weeks. Like what does that mean?" I ask her and she laughs

"Someone told him it's almost your birthday." She says and I shake my head

"No, he wouldn't text me this if that was the case. He's up to something and I know it." I say and she laughs

"Hey Rebecca, can we get an opinion?" I ask as she's at the bar presumably waiting for a drink

"Yeah of course. What's up?" She asks coming over to us

"This guy, he texts me out of nowhere I hear it's your birthday soon. Keep in mind we were in the middle of a completely different conversation and he wouldn't ever say that regardless. Isn't that strange?" I ask her
