Chapter 73- more apologies

October 27th-2023, Barcelona

"Do you think people think we are together?" João ask me as we are laying down watching a show before he has to leave for training

"I mean, I think some people think that. I don't think anyone knows except our friends." I say and he nods

"I think I like it better this way" he says

"I would imagine that, your whole life is public so keeping things private probably fees nice." I shrug

"How do you feel?" He asks

"I like the private thing right now, maybe I'll post you some times in the future but we've only been together for like a month so it's still early. Maybe I'll post with you on my private." I shrug

"Did you and your company sort the living thing for December?" He asks

"They have to get the keys for me in a few weeks and I can go see but my official move in isn't until November 22st, then I go to Abu Daubi so it's back and fourth a lot." I say

"And aren't you going to Vegas he asks and I nod

"That is a lot." He say

"It's gonna be fine, I'll be good." I say

"I won't, that's like two weeks of no you. I don't think I'll make it."he laughs

"No you have Floki, speaking of which. Where is he at?" I ask sitting up

"Downstairs, I think still in the pen. I don't want him out when I'm not monitoring him." He says pulling me back down to him

"Are you letting him come upstairs yet?" I ask and he nods

"Yeah, but it's like baby steps. We are taking it very slow with this process so he can get used to it."he says

"When are you leaving?" I ask him and he looks at his watch

"Maybe 30 minutes." He says and I nod

"Oh, I know your doing your Saudi Christmas but chilly invited us to go out for his birthday in December. If you want." I propose and sit back up and get out of the bed

"I'm sure that's fine, but won't you be like back in America?" He asks

" I go the 22nd and his birthday is the 21st so I should be able to make it." I say and he nods

"I might already be in Saudi Arabia but I'll send my congratulations with you." He says and stands up as I walk over to my phone yo grab it off the charger

"We can walk floki together before you go, then I'll just hang out with him all day." I say and put my hair back

"That sounds like a plan." He responds and follows me out the room and downstairs to the pen floki was asleep in.

"So what exactly do you have to do In December when you come here?" He asks

"It's like I attended meetings as an apprentice and I do an actual course but I just learn the ropes from the ceo and the people who work at headquarters's" I  explain and he nods

"Hey floki" i squeal as João lets him out and he runs to my feet

"Lets get him going quickly, otherwise he will take forever and make me late." He says and I nod

"Hey sorry I missed your call earlier I was with João. What's up?" I ask charlotte as she picks up the phone while I'm working on the couch with floki next to me

"Sorry, i was just calling to ask if you had seen Alex since that last encounter. I just recently saw her and she basically did the same to me." She says and i scoff
