It was the next day as Y/n got ready for the day. There was a knock on the door to the office, "Commander, may I come in?"

"Yeah."

After hearing a beep, Rapi entered the office, "I apologized for the disturbance. I checked the current inventory, which is likely to be exhausted within the next couple of days, and recommended restocking it in advance due to the urgency of the matter."

"Okay, but we have a problem. I don't have any money," Y/n admitted.

"Commander, did you submit the operation reports for the missions you've been on before?" Rapi inquires.

"Rapi, look me in the eyes... What are you talking about?" He asked.

"An operation report is what every commander is required to submit at the end of every operation. That's how they assess your performance and calculate your final pay," Rapi explained.

"Oh, okay, that makes sense," Y/n hummed.

"Let me write them for you and confirm the details. I may ask some questions while doing so," Rapi said.

Thirty minutes later, Rapi was typing away on the keyboard, keeping her focus on the screen. A wandering thought appeared in Y/n's mind as he watched Rapi.

"Rapi, you're good at this. Have you done this before?" He asked.

"Yes, I have much experience in this area," Rapi said.

"Did your previous commander give you this order?"

"Yes."

Y/n hummed in thought.

"Hey, Rapi, when I write the operation reports, I want you to be my proofreader," Y/n said.

"Okay, Commander," Rapi said.

Y/n narrowed his eyes, "I order you to stop typing."

The young man watched as Rapi stopped typing in an instant.

"Rapi, you don't have to follow every order," Y/n said.

Rapi shook her head and disagreed, "Nikkes are supposed to follow human orders. It is our nature to do so. Even if the order is unjust, we will follow it."

"What if I ordered you to jump off a cliff?" Y/n asked.

"I would do it," Rapi replied.

"No, you should be questioning me about how ridiculous an order that is."

"There is one thing... Keeping the commander safe is as important as following the order. No matter what, a commander cannot be put in harm's easy. It is also of paramount importance. As a precaution, Nikkes have emergency response items, such as AED and hemostatic agents, built inside us. The safety of the commander is our top priority. If a commander is injured or dies due to an oversight on a Nikke's part, that Nikke will be punished accordingly."

"The reports are finished," Rapi said.

I looked at the reports and saw how clear and concise they were. One thing stuck in my mind when I read it: "You're painting me too heroic."

"The success of any operation depends on the commander. Their leadership and virtue."

"Rapi, heed my words... I'm no hero. I do the things that I want because I want to."

"I'm sorry, Commander, but reports must be written this way, or else they will not be accepted," Rapi explained.

'What a load of garbage...' Y/n thought.

"Let's submit them at the Ark's Central Government's office."
