"We arrived at the checkpoint," Rapi said.

"According to Ludmilla's intel, we've got a good chance of coming across them today."

Rapi was going to say something when Neon cut into the conversation, "Guys, look over there."

Neon was gesturing to the flat land. There was the back of a human figure.

"Something doesn't feel right," Y/n muttered.

Boom!

The human exploded, and another avalanche started.

"Are you serious?!" Y/n complained.

"Commander, hold on!" Rapi said, locking her hand with Y/n.

Snap!

There was an unusual sound as Rapi's arm swung in the other direction. Rapi's hand loosened as Y/n stumbled and fell, rolling down the snow slope.

"Commander!"

The snow begins to set in when the young man feels something reach out to Y/n in the snow. He was suddenly pulled out to a terrifying sight and a familiar smile. Chatterbox was the one to lift him as he had a firm grip. He runs away from the Nikkes for several minutes before stopping.

"It's too bad. Simple traps easily fool humans!" Chatterbox boasts.

"Alright, what the hell do you want, you gorilla?" Y/n asked, glaring at the Rapture.

"I'm the one asking questions, human imposter!" Chatterbox asserts, squeezing him harder in his palms.

Crack!

Y/n felt a few bones snapping as he tried keeping his breathing steady. His gaze never wavered.

"I have a few questions for you. I was planning on getting answers during our previous meeting, but due to a certain presence, you were unwilling to listen... I wasn't able to find what I sought out. I hope you answer honestly because your life depends on it!" Chatterbox assets.

"What do you want to know?" Y/n sighed.

"Good... Have the imposters working with you been enhanced in any way?" Chatterbox asked.

"I don't know."

Chatterbox didn't like Y/n's answer and further squeezed his body.

"I said I want honest answers. No need to worry about anyone coming to your rescue. Now, answer the question: Have the imposters working with you been enhanced?"

"Sure," Y/n had no idea.

"Now, where are you from?"

"The Outer Rim."

"Were you sick ever a child?"

Y/n gave Chatterbox a ridiculous look, "What a dumb question. Humans can get sick."

Chatterbox laughed, amused, "You're coming with me, human. I'm still not done with you."

"I deserve some damn answers!" Y/n said.

"So nosy; this is precisely why I detest humans so much! Continue to bother me; I promise you won't like what I'll have in store for you, imposter!" Chatterbox warns.

"I will blow myself up!"

"Blow yourself up? How preposterous. Last I checked, organic worms like yourself don't come equipped with a self-destruction switch," Chatterbox retorts.

"Whoever said that I didn't have any explosives implanted in me?" Y/n asked, stalling for time.

"I won't fall for such a ridiculous bluff, human imposter!" Chatterbox exclaimed.
