When the transport ship arrived at its destination, everyone made their way down to the surface. Once they reached the Ark, they were surrounded by a group of mass-produced Nikkes surrounding the elevator.
"Uh, what's going on?" Y/n questioned.
A girl with long blue twintails emerges to greet them while holding an assault rifle. "Commander Y/n, Apex, and Wardress Squad! Hands up! All of you are being detained for an immediate court martial!"
"Huh?"
Y/n and the Nikkes were escorted to a nearby van and delivered to a courthouse.
In the courtroom, there was a holographic protection of a tall woman wearing a white formal attire and an opaque veil that covered her face.

"Greetings, Commander Y/n. I am Einkk, the judge who presides over the Ark's courts."
"Okay, but it doesn't explain what's going on," Y/n said.
"Your Nikkes have been summoned here on the accusation of endangering you during your most recent mission," Einkk explains, shining a light on Rapi and Mihara.
Y/n's eyes narrowed, "I'm sorry, but I think you're wrong. I would know they did their best to keep me safe."
"Commander, your assumption is incorrect. We recently received footage of the operation you completed. It clearly showed you being thrown out of a building before the feed abruptly cut to black. The audio was slightly corrupted," Einkk says.
"That proves absolutely nothing! You don't even have the full story!" Y/n argued.
"The commanding jury has already reached a verdict before you arrived," Einkk explains.
Einkk continues, "This court has already decided to sentence them to a memory wipe."
"Hey, leave Mihara out of this. I was looking out for her. She's important to someone, and erasing her memory would break their bond."
"Are you requesting me to repeal a sentence? You should know that has never happened in the history of the Ark's justice system since my punishments always fit the accompanying crime," Einkk retorts.
"The Ark's justice system is shit! You don't have the full story about what happened. You refused to hear me out when I was there!"
"Well..."
Rapi didn't want to see her commander get into trouble and decided to step in.
"This was all my fault. I failed my duty of protecting the commander. Mihara did her best to protect him," Rapi said.
"So, you're admitting your role?"
Rapi nodded, keeping her stoic expression.
"Very well, Mihara won't get her memory wiped. Rapi, please report to the appropriate facility in 24 hours... The court is adjourned."
