*Shiloh POV*

Elijah led our siblings and I through the Arxis, with myself one step behind him.  "Everyone, hold on tight and try to stay together!" I yelled to the group as I braced myself going in.

(*Insert portal noises here*)

*Gasp!*

I awoke suddenly, bolting upright into a sitting position.  Why is it that every single time I go through the Arxis, I always end up unconscious on the ground? I thought to myself as I stood and dusted myself off, annoyed.  Can't I just have one safe entry?

"Mooo!"  I turned around to see a cow that was only made of... cubes?  I skeptically looked at it, and the cow faced me back.  It then turned a different direction and walked off, like nothing ever happened.  I did a quick 360 to check out my surroundings and, sure enough, everything was in a blocky, cubical shape.  "Where am I?"

There was a mountain not too far into the distance, and to the left of it, I could see a huge ocean that seemed to span out for miles.  I spotted what seemed to be a forest directly to my right, and there were a whole bunch of pigs, sheep, chicken, and more cows in a flatland area to my left.

I looked up and, to no surprise, the sun and clouds were also blocky. The sun did seem to follow the same rising and setting pattern as Earth though, so I could use that to roughly analyze what time it was. It seemed to be just rising, so I still had some time before nightfall.

"I need to find my family!" I realized. "Elijah! Josiah?! Heck, I'll even take Judah or Micah right now. Can anyone hear me?!" I shouted as loud as I could. Nothing. I sighed, "I hope all of them are at least together. I need some sort of plan for how I'm gonna survive this world to start."

So, I started experimenting with gathering materials however I could. I found out that by punching a cube repeatedly wouldn't hurt my fist at all, so I decided to take advantage of that...

Night had fallen, and I had built myself a small little hut made from oak wood planks and cobblestone, just your basic starter house. I could hear some growling and strange clicking noises that I did not want to mess with right now.  The house wasn't too big, but it didn't need to be; I just needed protection from whatever was out there.

I didn't figure out how to make a bed yet, if there was one in this world, so I had to make a makeshift bed with wood and some leaves.

"This is so uncomfortable.  I really hope everyone else is doing okay," I said to no one specifically.  "Well, time to get some rest."
