*Josiah POV*
There was absolutely no way we'd have any shot at defeating Entity 303 in our current state. My siblings and I only had at most one or two pieces of diamond equipment on them, and that included tools. We had to get ready quickly, before 303's plan was executed.
"Alright guys, we don't have any time to waste," Elijah said as he was constructing a portal to the Nether. "We've got to get as stacked on resources as possible to take on Entity 303. First things first, better armor and weapons."
"Uh, Elijah?" Micah questioned. "Why are you building a portal to the Nether if barely any of us have diamond things?"
"Because," grunted Elijah as he placed the final piece of obsidian. "We need Netherite. Lots of it.
"And, there we go. Portal lit," he exclaimed after setting the four by three portal on fire.
(A/N: Is it four by three or three by four? I'm pretty sure it's four by three, but I could be wrong.)
My family, Herobrine, and I lined up in front of the Nether portal.
"No, I just don't like that," I subtly complained. "Honestly, who does? But we don't really have much chance in the fight unless we have stronger gear," Elijah responded.
"I do," Herobrine opposed.
"Not including you," Elijah pointed at him while still looking straight ahead at the portal.
"Yeah, okay," he looked down at the ground, appearing... saddened? I didn't even know that was possible for Herobrine. Then again, a lot of things that have been impossible in other Raelos haven't been impossible here, so I don't even know why I'm surprised.
"Okay gang, first things first: a treasure bastion has the higher chances of encountering full Netherite ingots, so we should all be on the lookout for those," Elijah organized a plan. "Shiloh, you may not know what those look like, so —"
"No, it's okay, Elijah. I'll stick with Herobrine and make sure he doesn't go rogue," Shiloh excused. "He'll teach me everything I need to know about the Nether."
"Sounds good. Thanks Shiloh," Elijah continued. "That leaves a pair of two and a group of three. Who should be in the group of three?"
Silence. The only noise that could be heard was the Nether portal making its ambience whooshing sounds.
"Come on guys, seriously?" Elijah complained. "Okay, fine: Josiah, Daniel, and Micah, you'll travel together. Make sure no one gets lost. That leaves Judah and I. Got it?"
"Got it," we confirmed.
"On three, we're running into that portal," said Elijah.
"Three!" Daniel, Micah, and I exclaimed simultaneously, running into the Nether.
*Elijah POV*
Shiloh, Herobrine, Judah, and I stared, dumbfounded at what we just witnessed.
"Oh, they are SO going to die," Herobrine said.
"Uh-huh. Yep. They're toast," Judah, Shiloh, and I agreed.
*Josiah POV*
Upon entering the Nether, I noticed we spawned in the Warped Forest biome, popular with Endermen. There were trees with maroon trunks and cyan colored vines, but instead of leaves, there were Warped Wart Blocks that were also cyan.
"I'm glad we didn't spawn in the Crimson Forests," Micah said. "This forest is way more safe, since Hoglins are afraid of the Warped biome."
"Don't forget about the Piglins, who attack you if you aren't wearing any gold armor," Daniel commented. "Speaking of which, we should mine up some of the Nether Gold Ore to craft ingots to make some."
"Alright guys, let's get to work. Let's head north, and don't forget to leave a trail to get back to this portal," I said.
"Is that way north?" Micah asked, pointing behind me. I turned around and saw a Treasure Bastion off in the distance a few dozen blocks away.
"Huh," I nodded. "Scratch my plan, let's head there!"
"Be on the lookout for Ghasts when we're bridging, though," Daniel warned. "You don't wanna get knocked into lava and burn to death."
"Yeah, because that would just be fantastic!" Micah exclaimed sarcastically.
"Okay, I'll start the bridge. You two, cover my back," I told them.
I started to place the first couple of blocks. However, we didn't get far at all when we heard a sorrowful cry that sounded like a cat that I wish we didn't have to hear...
