*Micah POV*

After our group split up into three different teams, Daniel, Josiah, and I continued building the bridge towards the Bastion that we first spotted before the Ghast interrupted us. Josiah built the bridge while Daniel and I watched out for any other hostile mobs.

"Hey guys, before you do it, let me tell you: don't look down," Josiah warned.

I looked down. Below us was a massive ocean of lava that made me dizzy. This bridge was our only sign of land besides the Bastion. "Oh god, why did I look?" I stepped back cautiously, almost slipping off the other side of the bridge.

"He just told you not to look!" Daniel accused.

"Micah, what are you thinking?!" Josiah looked up at me. "We only have one life! If we fall now, we're done for."

"I know, I'm sorry." I apologized. "I just can't believe how crazy things are right now, and we've only been here for not even five minutes!" I exclaimed. "That's the Nether for you," Josiah replied, continuing to bridge over the lava. "Danger can appear around every corner if you're not careful."

After a couple of minutes, we finally reached the Bastion, noted by Josiah hitting his back on a black wall. "Oof!" he exclaimed, struggling to stand back up.

"Okay, we're here," I said. "We need to be very careful. I'm sure you both know this already, but be on the lookout for Piglins and the Brutes. Don't open any chests if they are nearby because they WILL try to end you."

We broke a couple of blocks to make an escape route that led to the bridge, carefully eyeing down the hallways. "Man! Why isn't this a Treasure Bastion?" Daniel complained.

"How can you tell?" I questioned.

"I've been watching a lot of Rekrap speedruns and tutorials," he reluctantly admitted.

"Me too, man.  Me too," Josiah patted Daniel's shoulder sympathetically.

I broke through the wall.  I instantly covered it back up and turned around, my eyes wide with shock.

"What?  What's the problem?" Daniel asked.

"Hoglins," I continued staring off into the distance.

"Wait, I have an idea!" Josiah exclaimed.  "I know you can't do this in the game, but we're not actually in the game, are we?" he asked, holding up three saddles.

(A/N: Now play the song "Bruiser" by Bonkers Beat Club for a couple of seconds.)

"Oh.  Yeah," I grinned, catching on to his idea.

(A/N: Okay you can stop the music now.)

A couple minutes later led to us riding atop the massive, warthog-like, half zombie half pig creatures invading the Stables Bastion. We were taking out every Piglin Brute in our path with ease.

"Hog rider!" I yelled, steadying the beast whilst taking out as many Piglins as I could.

"Wrong game, man!" I heard Josiah yell to me as we made our way towards the chest hallways. "We've already been to the Clash Royale Raelo."

"I know, I just loved that Raelo," I grinned, remembering the crazy adventure we had in it.

"Let's turn up the heat!" Daniel yelled. I dared a glance over my shoulder and saw him place a jukebox. Now, I could hear the song "Pigstep" by Lena Rane playing in the background while we were fighting our way.

"Oh. Yeah," Josiah nodded. I could tell we all loved this disc in particular.

"Ahhh!" One of the Piglins had shot their crossbow and hit the Hoglin I was riding on. The Hoglin, startled, jerked its head back in pain and yeeted me off its back. I braced myself for impact on the ground, but it didn't come. In fact, it was something much, much worse than the ground.

There were gaps in the floor that led to the ocean of lava below, and I was just lucky enough to fall right through one.

"MICAH!!!" Daniel and Josiah screamed.

I tried to reach my hand out to grab the side of the block I fell through, but it was too late. I was falling into the lava. I closed my eyes, hoped that I somehow would survive, and waited for death below...
