She seems to be getting a hang of things in the Nether, I thought as I watched Shiloh take out some 5 or 6 Piglins with a Brute in the mix. She was definitely a warrior to be feared, and might actually stand her ground against Entity 303.
"Whew," Shiloh panted after taking out the last Piglin. "That's the last of them for now. We haven't even gotten past the third floor and we've taken out . . . how many? 18? 19?"
"Actually, it was 26," I corrected. "Yes, I've been counting."
"26!" Shiloh gasped as she sat down to rest. "No wonder I'm wiped out!"
(A/N: Okay, you can stop the music now.)
Suddenly (I don't know how), I could sense something, or someone, watching us. Waiting just outside the Bastion. I let my eyes flare blinding white.
"My Endermen," I ordered telepathically. "Guard the Bastion Shiloh is in. Don't let anything hurt her. Leave some around the outside and some inside, but do not harm Shiloh."
"Stay here," I told Shiloh. "I feel some evil presence around the Bastion. I know you can take care of yourself, but I've left some of my Endermen around as guards just in case. Whatever you do, DO NOT look them in the eye."
"Wha- what do you mean?" She stuttered in confusion.
"Just stay!" I roared, teleporting to the exterior of the Bastion.
"Alright, Entity 303, what are you doing here?" I asked angrily, materializing in front of him.
"I'm impressed you were able to sense me," he ignored me. "You're improving your senses.""Don't try flattering, it won't work. Now answer the question," I growled.
"Fine. I just wanted to tease you and that Nelson girl, but now that I've been caught, I'll barely even poke any fun at you."
"What do you mean by that?" I asked.
The entity just grinned menacingly.
*Shiloh POV*
I didn't understand what was going on. My nether guide suddenly left me without explanation, so I was stuck inside of the Bastion, trying to defend myself from hordes of Piglins.
But when I turned into a hallway, something caught my eye in a corner.
(A/N: Start "Chasing the Truth" by Dream Cave)
It was a chest, but something was... off. Instead of the normal orange-ish, brown-ish color, this one was blood red.
I knew I probably shouldn't open it, but of course, I did.
Surprisingly, it wasn't a trap. Inside, I found a book and quill titled "The New Herobrine". The book had no author. "What is this? 'The New Herobrine'? Is that a name for Entity 303?" I thought out loud.
I checked my surroundings to make sure I was safe before opening the book. Just for precautions, I used some cobblestone to block off the hallway I was in.
Upon opening the book, a blinding light flashed, so I shut my eyes in response. I screamed because it felt like something was pushing me inside of the book against my will.
(A/N: Okay, stop the music now.)
A few seconds later, I opened my eyes and gasped in shock. I was somehow teleported into the Overworld, staring down on a large city in a desert biome. What was even stranger was that I was floating in the air, bobbing up and down as if on some kind of current.
"This Raelo just keeps getting weirder and weirder," I murmured to myself. I quickly found out that I could fly, glide, whatever you want to call it, so I floated down closer to the massive city.
I saw three players constructing a new building for their city. One of them, a boy who went by "FrankieTheMiner2001", seemed to be in charge of the project, making sure the others were doing their jobs.
"Hey Vincent, can you go grab some more Quartz from the Nether for me please? I'm getting kinda low," Frankie asked another player, Vincent. "I can take over your build for now."
"Sure thing," replied Vincent. He dropped Frankie the blocks he was currently using and entered a nearby Nether portal.
Another user, this one went by Brady, suddenly came bursting through a forest a few hundred blocks away and ran straight for Frankie, gasping for breath. "Woah Brady! What's going on?!" the last player named John cried out.
"Did either of you place a sign?" Brady interrogated.
Why is that such a big deal to him? I thought.
"No? Why would we?" Frankie answered, confused.
"Okay, someone is playing a weird prank on us," Brady continued. "If none of us placed a sign and we're the only people on this world, then we might have to delete it. Someone wrote a sign with a strange message: 'Make a wish'."
