*Judah POV*
Elijah, Herobrine, Shiloh, and I ran through the Nether portal to make sure Daniel, Josiah, and Micah were safe. As soon as I stepped through, my vision began to disorient. I felt like I was going to throw up any second.
After a few seconds of inter-dimensional traveling (and making sure to clench my butt cheeks), I was able to make out the maroon and cyan tints of the Warped Forest biome.
"Let me outta here!" I quickly gasped for breath. I kneeled down on all fours to lay on the ground, exhausted.
I felt someone pat me on my back to help me regain control of my breathing. "And that's why you hold your breath as well as your butt when you go through portals." It turned out to be Eli. "I know, I know," I groaned.
"Now where are the rest of our brothers?" Shiloh asked while I got back up on my feet.
"Aaaaaaaaah!!!!" I heard Micah scream.
He was running straight at me, waving his arms like crazy! I had no time to react: he tackled me back to the floor in a panic.
"Oof!" I exclaimed, the wind getting knocked out of me.
"Oooooh..." my siblings and Herobrine all winced at my impact on the ground.
"You okay, buddy?" Elijah asked.
"I'm alright!" Micah answered. "Not you, Judah," Elijah clarified.
"I'm okay," I said. "You can get off me now." "Right, sorry," Micah apologized.
"Guys, we don't have time for this," Herobrine said. "We need to gear up, fast!"
"Well, why can't you just spawn us infinite Netherite or something?" Josiah asked, running to catch up with us.
"Just because I have superpowers doesn't mean I'm in creative mode," Herobrine defended. "Right now we need to get locked in and find these Treasure Bastions."
All of my siblings and I snickered a bit, trying to hold in our laughter. "What?" he asked.
"Nothing! It's just that I'd never thought I'd see the day where Herobrine, the oldest legend in Minecraft, would use slang from today," I smiled.
"Anyways, you're right. But the issue is..." Daniel pointed towards the bridge. "We've got a problem."
We ran to the edge of the cliff. That was the last bit of land we could see. After that, it was just an ocean of lava and, luckily enough, a Treasure Bastion off in the distance.
"What is it? I don't see anyth —" I started, but was cut off by a cry that sounded like it was trapped and wanted to get out.
It terrified me.
"Oh. I hear it now. Yeah, that's gonna be a problem," I agreed.
A Ghast floated up near where Josiah started to build the bridge. Its eyes opened wide and glowed orange, getting ready to attack.
"Run!" Micah exclaimed. "Everyone, run for your lives!"
"Wait! I just got an idea!" I said.
I pulled out my shimmering enchanted bow, notched an arrow, and waited. The Ghast screamed and launched its fireball. "Return to Sender," I bragged, quoting the achievement you would get in game as I released my arrow and deflected the bomb back at the hideous giant marshmallow, instantly killing it with its own attack.
"Okay, first I thought you were crazy," Daniel started. "Now I see what you were planning."
"Wow, not even a minute in and we already have mobs attacking us," Shiloh noticed. "Not looking too good for us right now."
"Welcome to the Nether, Shiloh," Herobrine joked.
"Okay, back to business. Micah and Daniel, you two watch my back while I build this bridge," ordered Josiah. "Elijah and Judah, you guys should go in the opposite direction from us."
"Obviously," I whispered to Elijah.
"I'll teleport Shiloh and myself somewhere and start looking there," Herobrine told the group. "Shiloh, do you trust him that much already?" Daniel asked. "You don't know what he is capable of."
"I'll make him. Pinky promise?" Shiloh asked.
Herobrine sighed. I think he might actually be intimidated by Shiloh! And for good reason, too. "Fine, pinky promise."
And then the two vanished.
"Okay guys. See you on the other side," Elijah said to our brothers. "Let's go Judah."
We turned and started digging into the wall behind our Nether portal, hoping that everyone would stay safe...
