Another night when she's not here with me in our bed, we're less than one month away from the elections and I can't think about anything but her.
Since the first time I laid eyes on her I can't keep her from my mind, underneath all of that hard exterior, there's a woman with a huge heart, she's funny, caring and she's beautiful.
I miss our little moments in bed, not the sex, well sex too, but our talks, the moments we just held each other, I wish she came back.
My phone vibrates on the nightstand, I want to ignore it but it could be Richard with updates.
Giovanna: Can we meet tmw for dinner?
I can't believe she texted me, I pinch myself, and after making sure I am awake I reply.
Kai: Of course, just tell me the time and place and I will be there
Giovanna: My house, 8 pm
Kai: I will be there
She doesn't say anything else after that. I'm nervous, I sure hope she decides to take me back because if she doesn't I may not survive.
I couldn't sleep last night, going over, the possible scenarios for tonight in my mind.
I just finished the last interview for the day, "is there anything else on my schedule for today or can I go?" I ask Richard, and he gives a side glance, "We needed to go over the points and possible legislations you want to change if the people elect you, for tomorrow's interviews" he tells me tablet in hand.
"Well unless you want a very unhappy, wiping candidate tomorrow, I would suggest we go over those tomorrow morning because I'm supposed to meet Giovanna at her place in one hour," I tell him already packing my briefcase.
"What are you still doing here?" he asks me opening the door for me to leave, I grab my briefcase and walk past him throwing a salute.
One thing is for sure, I won't let her go.
