I arrived just in time to see Mike getting off his bike getting ready to go see will when I shouted for him.
"MIKE" I yelled, he turned around and gave me a confused look.
"Y/n what are you doing here- you know what you should just go home" Mike said turning around
"Why I want to see if Will is okay, you guys did tell me your secret about everything so why not" I asked he turned around and walked to me
"Well we shouldn't of told you" He said "well why not, why do you hate me and Max so much is it just because you don't want us in the party or is it just because you miss Eleven" I said
"First of all I don't hate you and Max, but yes I don't want you and Max in our party" he said
"Well why not" I questioned
"BECAUSE I JUST WANT EVERYTHING TO GO BACK TO NORMAL AND FOR ELEVEN TO COME BACK" I flinched at his yelling before walking over to him and hugging him, he stiffened up under me then lightly put one of his hands around me.
"What are you doing" He questioned
"Giving you a hug, your going through a lot I get it I want things to go back to normal to, I just want to go back to california and live the rest of my life there but I cant because life changes, and you know how you told me eleven disappeared well I believe that she will come back" I said
"You really believe she will come back, I thought I was the only one, and I didn't know you wanted to go back to california" he said
"Well this place Doesn't really have a perfect picture, and the stuff you told me made it worse but I'm still willing to help even though I don't get to be in the party I just want to save the town I'm living in " I said pulling away from the hug
"Yea I guess your right about Hawkins not really your dream to be home" Mike said chuckling
"and if I could possibly be in the party I could be the Defender, so I wouldn't be taking anyones spot" I said
"Defender?" Mike questioned
"Yea back in California I would box and I have a pretty good arm because of baseball, so I'm pretty strong" I said flexing my muscles and kissing it, with that Mike burst into laughter whiping a couple tears.
"You... are.. so... funny" He said between breathes. Once he was finally calm we walked up to the house I looked at mike before nocking on the door.
"Will, Mrs. Byers" Mike said while nocking again, then the door unlocks and Joyce stands before us.
"Hey Mike..." she said not really remembering my name
"Y/n" I said
"Y/n... um now is really not the time" she said
"Is he okay" I asked
"...you know he's just not feeling really well, but I'll tell him you guys stopped by, Okay?" She said, then something clicked in my brain.
"It's about the shadow monster isn't it" I said
She turned back to me with a shocked face "How do you know abo-" "They told me, but we need to see will" she looked at me for a split second before pulling us both inside. But if only we new what was about to happen.
