Gojo It's Not Like That ~ Ch.5

I smacked Nanami upside the head after he explained to me that he had gone after Mahito with Itadori. He rolled his eyes as he leaned against the wall of the empty subway station but I knew this wasn't about Mahito, something was wrong and he was keeping it for me.

"What were you thinking?! You could've gotten killed Nanami" I growled glaring up at him.

"Seriously? What about Itadori?" Nanami laughed shaking his head at me but I scoffed.

"Like Sukuna would let that kid die" I rolled my eyes crossing my arms over my chest.

"Guess you have a point there" Nanami nodded in agreement and I sighed studying over his face, he looked away not being able to hold eye contact with me.

"What's going on Nanami? You've been different" I sighed but he just shook his head.

"Nothing-" He tried but I grabbed his tie and quickly tightened it which choked him.

"Stop lying. I know you Nanami" I glared at him and he looked down at me conflicted. One thing about Nanami is that it was hard for him to break the rules, talking to me was hard enough but something was wrong he was hiding something and whatever it was, was killing him.

"Gojo's after you" Nanami sighed and I looked up at him confused.

"What? You think I didn't hear about that little stunt you pulled with Megumi? Are you crazy?" Nanami scolded, I pulled away from him as my mind raced a million miles a second. They were after me? There was no way I could let him find me but it had been two months since the incident.

"I've been hiding your trail the best I can but he is catching up to you and fast" Nanami sighed studying over my face but something was wrong. Looking up at Nanami I could see worry and regret in his eyes and I shook my head.

"You didn't.." I mumbled and he shook his head quickly as he grabbed my hands.

"No I wouldn't. You know that but you can't be here.. You can't keep chasing after him" Nanami pleaded with me, wanting me to give up on Megumi and I looked at him shocked.

"Are you kidding me? And what? Leave him in the hands of that fucking idiot?" I snapped yanking my hands away from Nanami but suddenly I felt a presence approaching, it was overwhelming but barely noticeable because Nanami didn't even react to it. Quickly I teleported away, hiding in the shadows as Nanami looked around confused but I watched Gojo walk down the staircase into the subway.

"What are you doing here?" Nanami sighed adjusting his tie quickly losing his emotion but Gojo shook his head.

"You know why I'm here Nanami" Gojo chuckled as he shoved his hands into his pockets.

"Look Itadori couldn't handle-" Nanami tried but Gojo shook his head again, my eyebrows furrowed together in confusion as I watched them.

"Where's your girlfriend?" Gojo asked and I froze as Nanami stiffened looking at Gojo conflicted.

"Girlfriend? I don't have a girlfriend" Nanami brushed him off as he looked away annoyed.

"Let's not play the game where you act stupid. I've seen you sneaking around and shadows in your office. I can't feel them though, so they are like us right?" Gojo smiled, easily piecing the puzzle pieces together and Nanami stiffened as I inhaled sharply.

"Gojo it's not like that" Nanami mumbled, Gojo hummed as he tilted his head back.

"I don't have time for this dodge game. Where is she Nanami? There's a target on her back and the size is only getting bigger the longer this goes on" Gojo explained but I quickly warped out of there before I heard anymore. I sighed walking down the street as it began to rain, but I was to fixated on everything going on.

Why were they now chasing me? Because I saved Megumi? My feet moved quickly and smoothly against the concrete as I moved to the next street getting further and further away from Nanami. I knew he wouldn't tell anyone about me, he was just that kind of person but I decided for his safety this might be easier for him. Cutting down an alleyway to get home faster I sighed softly adjusting my tank top that was now sticking to me, but I felt him coming so I quickly merged into the shadows.

"I'd rather we not do this the hard way. I don't have the energy" Gojo sighed as he turned down the alleyway and I inhaled sharply.
