Running my fingers through my hair I sighed as I sat back in the chair watching Y/n's chest rise and fall. The machines beeped around us giving me an even bigger headache but I stayed, I couldn't leave her alone. After bring her to my house a few days ago when this happened I had doctors hook her up to whatever was needed in my room. I didn't care what happened to my bed or sheets or anything, I cared that she was ok but now seeing her with a tube in her mouth to keep her breathing just hurt.
"Still nothing?" Iori asked as she walked into my room following behind Megumi.
"They don't know if she will wake up" Nanami sighed softly as Megumi sat down on the other side of the bed grabbing her cold hand. My heart ached as I watched Megumi's eyes fill with tears but he put his head down on her hand as he took a few deep breaths.
"Gojo go eat something. We can watch her" Iori tried as she stepped towards me but I wrapped my infinity around me quickly not pulling my eyes away from Megumi and Y/n.
"He won't leave. I've tried" Megumi mumbled as Iori sighed studying over me.
"She's healing. That's good right?" Iori asked as she noticed Y/n arm didn't have all the cuts she had taken from the kids.
"With as much cursed energy as she has, her body will naturally heal itself until she stops breathing. Only reason why she is breathing are those machines" Nanami stated his voice harsh so I sighed glancing over at him and he looked away.
"It's not Iori's fault. Don't be a dick Nanami" I snapped lightly and Iori stiffened.
"You're right. It's your fucking fault" Nanami shouted and Iori sighed rubbing her forehead.
"IF YOU WOULD'VE JUST USED YOUR FUCKING BRAIN MAYBE-" Nanami yelled storming towards me but Megumi's wolves appeared snapping at Nanami.
"SHUT UP! SHUT THE FUCK UP" Megumi shouted as he stood up with tears streaming down his face.
"My sister is dying.. Inches away from death and you want to start a fight? If you are going to be that selfish and self centered then leave" Megumi snapped still tightly holding onto Y/n's hand. I saw Nanami want to argue but he took a step back so I fixated my gaze back to Y/n.
"You don't look so good Gojo. Come on at least shower" Iori tried turning the attention away from Nanami but I ignored her words.
"He doesn't look good because he hasn't slept or eaten since he brought her here. He won't even leave the room" Megumi sighed sitting back down and sending his wolves away again. Iori sighed shaking her head as she looked back at Y/n's pale figure as I grabbed the necklace, Y/n's necklace, hanging around my neck and fidgeted with it to distract myself.
"Then you. Come on you need to eat" Iori stated firmly staring down at Megumi but he scoffed.
"I'm not leaving these two alone together" Megumi rolled his eyes as he referred to Nanami and I.
"Iori's right kid. You need to eat, let's go eat get some air" Nanami sighed and Megumi looked over at me but I nodded.
"Go. You need to get out, I'll stay with her" I nodded so Megumi sighed pulling away from Y/n as he left the room with Nanami and Iori. I waited until I heard the front door close until I released my domain leaving only Y/n and I in it so no one could enter my house without me letting go.
I sat up looking at Y/n confused and frustrated, why wasn't she awake yet? Was I too late? Did I do something wrong? Why didn't she tell me what happened when she took away those injuries? A million thoughts running through my mind as I stared at her beautiful face and I sighed standing up walking over to the bed.
"Megumi just got you back Y/n.. You can't leave him" I sighed softly, gently running my fingers through her soft hair and my eyebrows furrowed together. Why did I care so much?
Studying over her face I didn't understand what made her different, what made me care so much but I couldn't help it. Leaning down I placed a gentle kiss on her forehead before sitting back down and rubbing my eyes trying not to fall asleep. But as I closed my eyes all I could see was her bleeding out, it was a repeating image in my mind it's why I didn't sleep I couldn't without seeing her.
It was about midnight when Megumi had the idea to pull the tube, none of us could fight him on it because at the end of the day she was his sister. Unsure of what would happen Nanami made sure everything was ready to bring her back, but there she laid an hour later... breathing on her own.
