Who's Geto Suguru? ~ Ch.27

The meeting had shocked me to the core, they wanted to marry me off to a man I had never seen before but the name sounded so familiar. He wasn't in the Zenin clan but even the Zenin clan seemed to fear him. Something about this wasn't sitting right so I had texted Gojo.

Gojo~ 

Y/n: Can we meet?

I sighed walking into my hotel room to get changed but as before I could even put my phone down I got a notification. 

Gojo~

Gojo: Always. When and where?

Y/n: Asap. 

I watched as he read the message before liking my message so I tossed my phone on the bed. Reaching up as I turned to the full body mirror in my room I took my sloppy bun out letting my long hair fall over my shoulders again as I kicked off my heels. 

*Who the hell is that man? Why do I know his name?* I grew frustrated as I tried to think of every possibility of how I knew this mans name. His face was completely unfamiliar but I knew his name and I didn't know how it was starting to piss me off. 

Walking over to the bed in the hotel my eyebrows furrowed together in confusion as I replayed the name over and over again in my mind. The only thing I could think of was Gojo and I couldn't understand why I knew his name and this wasn't it. Pacing around my room I tried to remember every person that I watched walking in and out of Megumi's left but the name wasn't clicking. Before I could do anything else I felt Gojo's presence so I quickly glanced over my shoulder. 

"Woah I know I was a few minutes but don't kill me now. I hurried over as fast as I could" Gojo sighed as he walked closer to me worried I was pissed but I shook my head. 

"No Gojo this is serious. I need to talk to you, I need to pick your brain" I explained quickly. 

"Breathe" He said quickly as he grabbed my shoulders and I let out a shaky breath as he took off his blindfold locking eye contact with me. 

"Talk to me. What's going on?" Gojo asked his eyes showing how worried and concerned he was. 

"I had a meeting today with the Zenin clan and-" I tried explaining but his eyes widened. 

"Excuse me, what were you thinking? Are you ok? Did they do anything to you??" Gojo asked as he cupped my cheek studying over my face before his eyes trailed over me looking for injuries. 

"... They know where Megumi is" I mumbled softly which made his eyes snap back up to mine. 

"What?" Gojo froze looking at me in shock and I sighed nodding softly. 

"They offered me a deal" I explained as he pulled his hand away as his eyes searched mine. 

"I can either stand by and wait for them to go after Megumi.. or I go to them willingly and let them marry me off and use me as they please while they let Megumi go" I mumbled Gojo's eyes hardened for a minute as his hand slightly shaking. The night we were intimate flashed through my mind and I assumed he wouldn't care if I went away for Megumi. 

"I know I thought he was safe too but someone found him. Don't worry though I'll go through with what they want so Megumi will be safe and they won't even look his way" I stated softly as I looked away but he cupped my face again turning me to face him. I locked eye contact with him and stiffened seeing he was glaring at me, anger building in his eyes. 

"No. Fuck that you aren't just.." He trailed off as his eyebrows furrowed together. 

"Pretty boy.." I sighed going to turn away but he held my chin tightly and held my gaze. 

"You can't just leave again. I won't let you" He growled softly, I was now realizing why he wore a blindfold most of the time. Not only because he was more likely to get headaches but because you could so easily see all of his emotions he can't hide them. Staring back into his eyes I saw something I didn't recognize he was looking at me like Nanami looked at me. 

"Please just let me protect you." He pleaded as his eyes switched back in fourth between my eyes. 

"Why?" I asked softly and I noticed hesitation in his eyes but his eyes softened slightly. 

"I care about you... I need you to stay. Please just stay" He whispered, my heart swelled hearing him asking me to stay. I didn't know what was going on between Gojo and I but I didn't want it to stop. 

"Pretty boy?" I sighed and he hummed softly waiting for me to finish as he studied over my face. 

"Who's Geto Suguru?" I asked softly but his eyes widened as his hand stiffened on my chin. I quickly knew he knew who it was, I looked at him confused as he took a step back letting go of my chin. 

"How.. How did you learn that name?" Gojo's voice was hoarse as he looked at me in disbelief. 

"The Zenin clan meeting. They said that would be the man I would marry and they seemed terrified of him. I didn't know who he was but I knew the name I just didn't remember how" I explained quietly as I watched his gaze darken listening to what I was saying. He shook his head softly as he turned away running his fingers through his hair. 

"No. There's no way he found you again I was covering everything how did he connect everything" Gojo grumbled and my eyebrows furrowed together in confusion as I grabbed his arm turning him back to me. 

"What do you mean again?" I asked but he couldn't look at me he just shook his head again. 

"Gojo answer me. You need to be honest as well, we can't fix anything or protect Megumi if you don't talk to me" I sighed lightly caressing his arm as he finally looked down at me. 

"Suguru.. He was my best friend. He was with me on the day on that mission with your dad. Your dad broke him that day and ever since he decided he wanted to kill all non sorcerers. He disappeared before I went and took in Megumi" Gojo mumbled looking away ashamed. 

"He has been ripping apart the entire sorcerer world. The night you were drugged I had always thought it was odd someone went after you because of me I didn't understand it. Until Nanami dug up the drug, finding out it was filled will a curse I knew it was Suguru going after you because of me" He sighed as he clenched his fists but I carefully grabbed his chin turning him to face me. 

"It's not your fault. We will figure it out ok?" I stated softly as we locked eye contact. 

"And he left me a note when you were drugged.. 'She wasn't that hard to get to. I like this one. Watch out I might take this one and keep her. Let's see how long until you figure out how to fix this one ~ G'" Gojo explained softly.
