I Have An Idea ~ Ch.10

*Gojo's POV*

It had been three months since anyone had seen or heard from Y/n, Megumi was absolutely wrecked and he blamed himself for his blow up. Nanami refused to tell either of us anything which only made Megumi spiral more and it hurt to watch. I sighed leaning against a railing as I looked down at the court yard seeing Itadori trying to make Megumi at least smile, but I grew agitated as I felt Nanami approaching.

"I'm in no mood for you Nanami" I sighed as he stopped a foot away from me looking over at Megumi, but something felt off and glancing up at his face he looked awful.

"Don't tell me guilt is catching up to you now" I scoffed turning back to watch Megumi.

"I can't tell you guys anything because I don't know anything.." Nanami mumbled.

"What are you talking about?" I asked not taking my eyes off of Megumi's paler figure.

"I was hoping she would come after awhile. To explain or give reason but.. I haven't seen her since you guys saw her last, I haven't even heard from her Gojo" He explained quietly and I sighed rubbing my forehead in annoyance.

"Why didn't you tell us that before?" I asked turning to him and he tilted his head back shaking his head.

"Because I wanted to protect her. If she ran it was because she was scared or you guys gave her a reason so I thought I was helping her" He sighed before rubbing his eyes.

"She's terrified of Megumi" Nanami stated quietly as he looked back at Megumi and my eyebrows furrowed together in confusion.

"She never met Toji's expectation, she knows she hasn't met mine, she can but hates feeling like that she needs to and she doesn't want to feel like she did when Toji was alive. Constantly fighting for a place or just to be seen. All she knows is how to fight and run, she refuses to disappoint anyone anymore so when things get slightly rough she runs.. everytime without fail" Nanami sighed finally looking at me.

"Megumi has an image of her in his mind and she knows it. She doesn't want to disappoint him and in some way she doesn't want to disappoint you either" He shrugged but I scoffed looking away.

"You are Megumi's family.. Y/n knows you mean something to Megumi and if you don't approve or like her that could affect Megumi's sight on her. She hates that pressure so instead of talking it out or anything she runs and well she has a more violent answer" He chuckled as he shook his head.

"Where does she live? I can find her. We both know I can Nanami" I sighed rubbing my forehead.

"She doesn't have a home" Nanami stated bluntly and I groaned softly as Megumi looked up at us.

"When Megumi was born he threw Y/n into the hands of the Zenin clan. She escaped and tried coming back but he never let her, he wanted a son to take his place. So when Toji died still not accepting her I think in someway she just figured she didn't deserve a home. She makes her money killing curses so she eats from restaurants and once in awhile she'll stay at a hotel but most of the time she's on a rooftop or in a park" Nanami shrugged, I watched Megumi's eyebrows furrow together but a lightbulb went off in my head.

"Nanami you are a fucking genius" I laughed as I took a step back looking down at my phone canceling my mission.

"What do you mean?" Nanami asked utterly confused but I shook my head.

"I know what to do. Keep an eye on Megumi for me, I'll be back in a few days" I stated quickly.

"What are you going to do?" Nanami questioned me and I smiled as I put my phone away.

"I have an idea. Just watch him ok? I'll be back with Y/n" I nodded so he sighed but agreed.

With that I left quickly, grabbing my car and I took off quickly not telling anyone else I was leaving or where I was going. If I was right about this, no one could know or it would risk Y/n and everything she had built hiding Megumi. But I was hoping to whatever was out there that I was right for Megumi's sake.

Days later and I arrived at the city yesterday, I didn't know what I was going to say or how I was going to bring her back but right now my focus was finding her. I walked through the rain as I stepped into the park, memories flooding my mind and I shoved my hands in my pockets as my promise of me never coming back here flooded my mind. I walked further into the place as my head began to ache from all of the harsh memories slashed me but I pushed forward needing to know if I was right.

*What if I was wrong? All of this for nothing?* I began to become conflicted but as I took the last turn I stopped in my tracks seeing Y/n tracing her fingers over the wall where Toji was blasted into. The place he had passed away, I don't know why but I knew she would be here.
