Do You Think I Did? ~ Ch.21

It had been a week and still no one had seen or heard from Y/n for all we knew someone could've used that drug to their advantage. In the meantime Nanami had found the drug and it was horrible seeing the look on his face when he dropped it in front of Megumi and I.

"What's this?" Megumi asked but Nanami looked heartbroken as he glanced at me.

"It heightens attraction. Making it about impossible to be around them without well.." Nanami trailed off as he glanced at Megumi but my eyebrows furrowed together in confusion.

"What are you getting at?" I sighed as Nanami sat down in front of us.

"The drug won't go away until someone she's attracted to 'fixes the problem'. There's cursed energy in it which is what is making it stay, from the looks over how quickly she relaxed getting away from you I'd say you were driving her insane." Nanami explained and I looked down at the bag of drugs.

"So we find her, quickly.. Or someone who she finds attractive could abuse that drug" Nanami stated I looked at him quickly as we both realized the same thing.

Y/n being gone this long could mean she was already taken, and no one would have any idea where to start. Megumi got up and walked away calmer then I expected but I decided to let him go knowing he probably needed the space. Nanami sighed as he loosened his tie leaning back in the chair, I looked at him conflicted.

"Why didn't you take your chance?" I asked.

"Why didn't you?" He shot back at me and I shook my head as I pushed the drug back to him.

"I don't-" I tried but he glared at me as he took off his glasses.

"Bullshit" Nanami scoffed and my eyebrows furrowed together in confusion.

"Excuse me?" I asked utterly confused but he shook his head softly.

"Gojo stop lying. We both know you feel something because I don't ever remember you telling people that one over your fuck buddies was off limits. You've never cared about any of them" He sighed shaking his head as he tilted his head back looking at the ceiling.

"After knowing what this shit does, the image of her relaxing replays in my mind over and over again. Yes she is somewhat attracted to me but.. she likes you more. She may not know it yet but she does" Nanami stated keeping his gaze on the ceiling.

Leaning back in my chair I sighed thinking about Y/n, I didn't know what it was about her but she felt different. Something was always pulling me towards her and I could never ever place it but I never wanted to let her go. Now being out of my reach and possibly in the hands of someone else made my skin crawl, my fists clenched in anger.

"She was yours Nanami" I stated softly but he shook his head again as he sat up in his chair.

"She was never mine. She made her choice and that's fine, but that doesn't mean I don't care about her anymore. So don't fuck it up" Nanami growled lightly and I sighed rubbing my forehead.

"Well that's if she hasn't given up already. What was it she like to call you? Oh right the 'ego filled playboy' might have already lost his chance without even actually trying to" A smirk spread across Nanami's face and I rolled my eyes as he got up to leave.

"Do you think I did?" I asked softly making him pause and look back down at me.

"I honestly don't know Gojo. For your sake I hope you did because you don't deserve her but for her.. I know feelings aren't easy for her to feel so I hope not for her sake" Nanami stated before grabbing his stuff and leaving, I groaned as the door shut and I rubbed my face annoyed.

All night I stayed up texting and calling her, wanting her to respond so I could at least know if she was ok. I never got a response though nothing was even read and finally it was morning time. Megumi rushed to school early this morning which was a normal thing so I thought nothing of it. As I walked down the hallway towards the outside courtyard as I cracked open an energy drink.

"You alright Gojo?" MeiMei asked and I nodded before taking a drink as I stepped outside not bothering to hold the door for MeiMei, but something caught my attention.

"So rude. I remember when you used to rush to hold the door open for me" MeiMei smirked but I ignored her, hyperfocused on the subtle feeling of someone. Until it finally clicked and I recognized the feeling of Y/n, but MeiMei's hand slid under my arm and she wrapped her hand around my bicep.

"Ignoring me huh?" She asked but I looked down at the courtyard seeing Megumi smile as Y/n appeared from the shadows. Although she seemed different and colder but she looked even more beautiful then the last time I had seen her.
