HE'S IN THE WALLS!!!

After a good 30 minutes of just laying down and resting with the lights off, Delta sat back up and used his magic to turn the light back on.

He pulled out his phone, scrolling quietly for a while as he planned ideas on what to do with his new room. [I'm not sure how long I'll be staying here, but I might as well make it my own.] He thought.

As he was scrolling, he suddenly felt like he was being watched.

Still paranoid from earlier, Delta looked up...

... to see Karma in the wall.

Yep, you read that right. He was in the fucking wall.

Delta flinched hard, dropping his phone in shock as they tried to speak, and yet nothing came out.

Karma stared blankly at them, in mild confusion. His form was floating off the ground and semi-transparent.

Finally, as they regained composure, Delta managed to call out, "Can I help you?? What the fuck?!"

Karma's eyes widened in shock. He froze. Then, he decided to come into the room fully, just to test if Delta really could see him.

Delta flinched back, "Hey! What the hell?!"

Karma made himself fully visible, transforming back into his human form. "You can see me?!"

"YOU CAME THROUGH THE FUCKING WALL???" Delta shouted in shock, unable to compose himself. He had NEVER seen anyone do that before. "How the hell could I not?!"

"Holy shit, you can see me!" Karma's expression lit up with excitement, while Delta regained his composure and took a deep breath, recovering from the shock.

"Yeah, no shit! Of course I can!" Delta replied, allowing himself to take a moment to collect himself.

"No, it's not that! Alright, I guess I need to explain," Karma smiled brightly, "I'm a ghost. Well- half-ghost, really. I got stuck in limbo and because of that, I'm stuck here. But I'm able to do anything a ghost normally can do on command, while also staying in human form. I switch between forms at will."

Delta listened, but had to give himself a solid moment to process what that all meant. "... so you're a half-ghost who is here permanently? And I just saw you in ghost form?"

Karma nodded, still smiling, "Yep!"

"And I saw you."

"Yep!"

"So that means I can see ghosts."

"Uh... yeah, I guess."

"That's... wow. Okay then. Hm." Delta had to think for a long minute. He had no idea what to make of this. On one hand; that is so fucking cool. But on the other; how could they be sure who was and wasn't a ghost now? They had only ever experienced Monster ghosts and the Souls. Was this whole house just a house full of ghost people? Was everyone already dead?

Karma could sense how uneasy they were feeling. "Hey, it's alright. I wasn't expecting it either. And don't worry, i won't possess you or nothing." He joked, smiling slightly.

"No, I know, it's just... I didn't expect that. Wow. Okay then." Delta was astonished. He was at a complete loss for words.

They decided to deal with this revelation (and the emotions with it) later.

"... well then. I'm gonna deal with that later. Um, what did you come here for?" Delta switched the subject.

"Oh! I just came to check on you. I thought you were sleeping since the light was off, and I didn't want to wake you. But I guess you were already up," he smiled nervously. "Also. Uh. Sorry, but what's your name again?"
