Nala walked downstairs quickly, pulling up the pictures they had at the ready. They twirled their purple locks, skimming over the pictures they had.
When they got to the kitchen, they saw Jack already logged into the database, with Karma sitting across from him.
They gently pat Jack on the back, to signify that they were here, knowing sometimes he couldn't hear people approaching too well. "Hey, what'd you need?" They called out, pulling up a chair next to Jack.
Jack quickly perked up, looking to them as they sat down. He nodded to acknowledge them, and then got back to work on his computer.
Karma perked up, quickly shooting a smile their way, "Hey Nal! I need some dirt on the people who attacked us this morning. They say we owe them."
Nala cocked an eyebrow, assuming Karma to be kidding, "Damn, how much?"
"I think possibly $400." He bluntly stated.
Their jaw dropped, eyes wide, "FOUR- FOUR HUNDRED???" Nala barely restrained themself from screaming it, shocked that their enemies would even try to fuck around like that. But unfortunately for them, they about to find out.
Karma quickly made a motion for them to lower their voice, "Hey, hey, stop! We don't know for sure, we're trying to get out of it!" He replied quickly.
Nala quickly composed themself and tried to lower their tone. "Who do you need blackmail on? Like, who exactly? I need a name." They quickly took out their phone again and logged into their Google doc files.
Karma informed them who they were going against, giving them five different names.
Within mere minutes, Nala grinned, "Got it!~ I got multiple on the first three, and only one on the others."
Karma perked up, eyes wide, "Damn, already? Nice job!" He happily said, and gladly took the blackmail.
He skimmed through the articles and pictures Nala had gathered against the enemy, a evil smile spreading across his face. "I'll go ahead and send those to myself, if that's alright?"
Nala nodded, "Go ahead."
Karma nodded and quickly sent it all to himself. "Perfect! Thanks Nala, you can go back to whatever you were doing now."
Nala nodded and gladly took back their phone, thanked him and then ran back upstairs, knowing their sister would be upset if they kept her waiting too long. But when they got back to the playroom, they found C breaking up a fight between their sister and Fetch.
Nala was surprised but quickly went over, "Hey, hey, what happened?" They quickly asked, concern filling their gaze.
The two bickering children jumped, quickly turning towards them.
"He started it!" Vivi quickly whined, wanting first say.
Fetch whipped around toward her, "No I didn't!!" He shouted back, agitated.
Nala was surprised, "Whoa, hey, started what? What happened?"
"He hit me!" Vivi whined, stomping.
Nala was shocked, "What?-"
"Yeah, cause you threw your dumb toy at me!" Fetch pouted, crossing his arms.
Vivi perked up and whipped her head toward him, "HEY!"
C tried to cut in, seeming to know the full story as the children bickered, "Whoa, wait, hold on-"
"It's not MY fault you were being such a meanie!"
"Vivian!"
"Then maybe you shouldn't be a meanie first!"
C spoke up and tried to get the two away from each other, "Hey, cut it out, you two!-"
