Walking out of the medical room, Delta followed Ms. Kelley into the kitchen. Someone had set food out on the table, though Delta noticed that it wasn't much.

The kids all rushed down the stairs, followed by the teens who quietly spoke to themselves, seeming nervous.

Watching as the kids took their place at the tables excitedly, followed by the teens, Delta decided to just wait to see where everyone sat before getting a seat for himself. He didn't want to disrupt the order of it.

Ms. Kelley and Karma took their placed, with Karma pulling our a seat for Delta. He turned back to them, "Hey! Where you wanna be?" He called.

Delta was a bit surprised, but shrugged, "It doesn't matter!" He answered, walking over.

He noticed there was a small variety of the things on the table - a couple different kinds of soups with croutons and a couple fruit cups around. But they couldn't help but notice that it all looked like hospital-grade food.

Another thing that Delta couldn't help but notice is just how thin these people were. Even the kids. They didn't look exactly malnourished, but judging by the pure excitement over simple food, Delta had a feeling that told him they didn't got to eat very often, which worried them.

However, not wanting to be ungrateful or rude, Delta didn't mention it. And plus, the kids seemed to already know about it being hospital food, and they didn't want to ask questions in case it hurt them as he sat at the table.

After dinner, Delta was taken back into the medical room for his concussion check. He was starting to feel better. Their head still hurt like hell - but there was no way they were admitting that. They didn't want to run the risk of asking for medicine.

Coming back to the medical room, he saw Karma in there, speaking to two people.

One of them was a boy with dark curly brown hair, it being a bit shaved on the sides with a fade. He had freckles all on his face. His dark brown eyes matched his hair. His arms were crossed tightly over his body, and Delta couldn't help but notice a black ring on his finger. He was wearing black baggy pants with white hemlines and a few chains hanging down. He was wearing a dark red t-shirt with a black star design imprinted on it, and a black jacket to match his fingerless gloves. He was a bit taller than Karma.

The other, a Skeleton monster, had noticeably yellow eyes (specifically, naple's yellow), which was unusual for most Monsters. He had on a sleeveless tanktop and black basketball shorts with white stripes on the tips of the ends. He had a silver chain necklace on, and bandages on his hands going up to his arms. Delta wasn't sure why, but knew it wasn't his business.

Hopping back up onto the bed, the two others finally noticed him and quickly finished up their conversation with Karma as Ms. Kelley shut the door behind them.

Delta felt incredibly uncomfortable being surrounded by people he didn't know, but forced his body to relax as he masked his expression.

Karma began, "Thanks for coming back here. Ms. Kelley's gonna fix up your concussion, and while she's doing that, I figured it'd be a good time to explain how this place works. Not as a threat, but so you know what you're getting yourself into."

Delta was a bit worried about how Karma worded it, but decided that he wouldn't bother asking about if he's being told that they'll tell him. So, he just nodded, and let them start.

"Alright, firstly, this is Spot-" Karma motioned to the boy with curly hair, who waved, "-and this is Hypno." He then motioned to the other Skeleton, who also waved.

As Ms. Kelley began her examination, Karma continued, "So, if you haven't figured it out already, we're a gang. But we don't do gang activities - well, most of them. We only fight when provoked, and only take what we need when necessary.
