"Nayantara, I want you to help Yashika get ready for tonight. Can you do that for me?" I asked my sister when she came to my chamber asking me about the musical evening.
"Do not ask Bhaisa. I will do it happily. After all..." Her face had a wicked smile glancing at me.
"After all what?" I inquired, to which she just shrugged her shoulders and tried to walk away.
"You need to answer me first. Come back here," I insisted, reaching out to grab my little sister, but she slipped away.
"Kuch bhi kar lo bhai, main nahi bolungi. Waise aap Meko pata hai hi sab. Aur hum Maasa ko bhi batayenge," she said, evading my grasp and running off.
"Nayan!! Ruk jaiye. Aap Maasa ko kuch nahi bolengi," I called after her, but she didn't stop.
She always takes advantage of my soft side for her. She knows that, no matter what, I can never even raise a finger at her.
As I chased after her, reaching the end of the hallway of chambers, she suddenly disappeared.
"Nayan!!" I called out, but there was no reply. So, I went to find Maasa before Nayantara could say anything.

Nayantara loved teasing her brother. As the youngest and most beloved of the three siblings, she was always allowed to do as she pleased. However, this time, the way she was teasing Digvijay wasn't going to end well for her.
Seizing her opportunity, she dashed down the corridor where there were fewer guards. Just as she turned a corner, someone grabbed her and pulled her into a dark room, causing her to be startled. Before she could scream, her mouth was covered, silencing her.
She squinted in fear under his grip, her face pale, eyes wide, and breath heavy. "Nayan..." the moment she heard her name, all fear dissipated. Realization dawned on her, and she immediately wrapped her arms around the broad shoulders, melting into his touch.
"AAP toh apni Nayan ko prem hi nahi karte. Ek din aayega jab humein koi aur bhyaah ke le jayega"(You don't love me anymore. There will be a day when someone will marry me off,)she said, looking straight into his eyes, testing him.
Those words did not sit well with him. He removed Nayan's arms and pushed her back against the door. "HUM USKI JAAN NIKAL DENGE JO AAPKE PAAS BHI AAYA."."I will kill anyone who tries to come close to you," he whispered, his dagger dangerously close to Nayantara's neck.
"If you have the courage, say that in front of Bhaisa," Nayan taunted, provoking him.
He grabbed Nayan's hair, causing her to gasp. Instead of being scared, she seemed to enjoy it.
"Don't make that sound. You know what it does to me," he warned, feeling himself getting turned on.
Nayan smirked and whispered in his ear, "What's wrong? A big warrior like you lost to a girl's voice?" This triggered him.
He let go of the dagger, grabbing Nayan's wrist and turning her around, pinning her against the door.
He slowly removed her dupatta from her head, letting it fall to the ground. He brushed her hair to the side, and in the dimly lit room, the only sound was their heavy breathing.
"Aag se khelengi toh jal jayengi..aur hum aisi aag hain jo bhujaye nahi bhujegi."(If If you play with fire, you'll get burned. But I am a flame that can't be extinguished. Bright and unending, I will always glow - a fire that cannot be put out,),he whispered in Nayantara's ear, both of their eyes closed.
