"Then why did you fake your attack?" Digvijay inquired, curiosity lacing his voice.

"I never did that," Yashika replied, her tone firm yet pained. "That night, there were two different attacks: one that I planned, which was to injure you, but the other was a real one. Someone wants to kill me," she said, her hand still moving on his back, applying a healing paste.

"Do you know who it is?" Digvijay asked, his voice a blend of curiosity and anxiousness.

"Do you think I would be sitting here doing nothing if I knew who it was?" Yashika replied sarcastically as she stood up. Just when she was about to walk away, Digvijay grasped her hand and pulled her, causing her to fall into his lap. The bowl fell to the floor, shattering into pieces and spilling the medicine.

A loud gasp escaped Yashika's lips at his sudden action. "What are you doing?" she glared at Digvijay. Despite her anger, her heart fluttered with joy at seeing him after a year, though she was still furious at him for leaving her alone and hiding from her.

"I said, what are you doing? Leave me alone," she retorted, but Digvijay only tightened his grip around her waist. "Just admiring the beauty before my eyes," he replied, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. "And this time, I will never let you go," he added, as his thumb traced over the faint claw marks on her face.

Yashika swallowed her unease at his gesture and wiggled to escape his touch, but he did not budge.

"Rajasa, I think you should leave now," Yashika's tone was clipped and commanding.

"As you wish," Digvijay said, removing her from his lap abruptly. He dusted off his clothes and was about to leave when he heard something that halted him in his tracks, a tiny smile forming on his face.

"Nirutsa Yaksha," Yashika mumbled in frustration as she picked herself up.

Digvijay heard it and swiftly turned, his hands locked behind his back, his gaze deep and intense.

"Did you say something?" he asked, taking a step forward.

"No, I did not, and why should I tell you?" she retorted, crossing her arms over her chest. Unbeknownst to her, this simple act only served to accentuate her figure, making her breasts more pronounced and alluring beneath the partially transparent linen dress.

"Is that so? Then why did I hear something like 'Nirutsha Yaksha'?" Digvijay asked, taking another step closer and placing his hands firmly on either side of her waist, his glare unwavering.

"How do you know that word?" she asked suspiciously.

"You forget, little warrior, I have sensitive hearing," he replied, taking another step forward until there was no space left between them.

The distance was almost nonexistent. If Yashika took a deep breath, their chests would touch. Her eyes were locked onto his, drinking in the sight of him after a year's separation. His deep, mysterious eyes sparkled like stars in the night sky, captivating her.

While Yashika was lost in admiration, Digvijay had another mischievous plan in mind. Without breaking eye contact, he gently stroked her right arm, sending tingles down her spine. She melted under his touch, closing her eyes to savor the sensation.

A smirk crept across his face as Digvijay moved his hand slowly to her neck. Before she could realize it, he pulled open the knot that held her dress.

"Huhhh!" she gasped loudly. Before she could become fully exposed, Yashika clutched the fabric to her chest, holding it tight.

Digvijay took the final step, eliminating any remaining distance between them, though her elbows now provided the only barrier. His hands gently massaged the sides of her neck, and Yashika, unable to withstand the intensity of his gaze, turned her back to him. Her breath was heavy and loud.
