It was almost 12:00 pm, Steven was already almost home, he couldn't wait to see everyone again... if they're alright that is. His mind was still thinking over about the dream he had. Thinking about it now, it definitely didn't feel like one.

Suddenly, not too far from his vision, he could see the sign 'WELCOME TO BEACH CITY!' He was slightly more relaxed, at least the sign was still there. Continuing his drive, he eventually could make out the hill and soon enough the whole town, still in perfect condition.

"Oh thank goodness" Steven finally felt relieved, there was still time, but the more he thought about the dream, the more stressed he became. It may be only a matter of time before the problem begins.

Moments later, he was back in town, not far off he could see little home world. Soon he came across old friends while driving; Kiki, peedee, sour cream... onion... and many more people of Beach City. Soon, everyone saw Steven, in joy they began to wave and welcoming him back home.

Steven couldn't help but feel so slightly touched by their gestures and soon enough, he was driving past his father's car wash. Steven couldn't help but see his dad just before finding the gems. Pulling up to the entrance, Steven began to head inside until his dad came out.

"Steven!" Greg said joyfully, brining his son into a hug with Steven returning a hug back. "Dad! It's so good to see you again!" Steven said, now both letting go of each other, they stood and continued their talk. "I didn't think you come back THIS early! You felt homesick?" Greg began to ask, Steven wasn't so sure if he could tell his father about... his dream.

"Well, uh... actually I brought so many things during my trip and thought about giving gifts for you and the gems! I couldn't help it, there was just so much that I've seen that I HAD to buy something for you guys!" Steven said to cover up his real intentions, he loved his father so much but after what happened with bluebird, another conflict would be the last thing he would want for his dad.

But then it hit Steven, he was hiding secrets just like the gems would back then. "Aw Steven, you didn't have to get anything for us." Greg reassured his son, but then Steven lowered his head for a brief moment and sighed before lifting his head back up.

This was something Steven didn't want to do... hold secrets. "Dad... actually... I came back because something has been bothering me" Greg stood there already ready to listen to what his son was about to say. "I had a dream where all of my friends were hurt. There was this person just staring at me, I don't even know who it was but since then, it's been bothering me."

Steven didn't want to worry his father, but he would hope that his father understood that he might have to get ready just in case this dream that Steven had was a vision. "It's been troubling you that much huh?" Greg said, Steven could only nod. "Hey, don't worry, there's not a problem you can't handle, physically or mentally. No matter whether this dream of yours is a vision or a nightmare, just know one thing."

Greg placed a hand on his son's shoulder causing Steven to look at his father eye to eye. "You are Steven Universe. You are you and that's enough." Greg said warmly with a smile. Without a thought, Steven embraced his father in a tight hug. He could only hope this dream was all but a silly movie in his head. "Thank you dad." Steven said quietly.

"Hey, don't mention it, after all it's the least I could do." Finishing the hug, Steven and Greg said their goodbyes before Steven began driving back to his house. Just like before when Bluebird arrived, another gem had arrived on earth. "Must be another gem, garnet, amethyst and pearl must be in there." Steven parked his car near the hill that lead to his house.

Walking inside his, guess would be correct, Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl were inside greeting a new gem. Other gems were there as well giving greetings to the new arrivals. The gem in question was behind Garnet, Steven couldn't make what the gem looked like other than their arms which looked red, so he decided to move closer.

Then everything stopped... the gem had red pupils. Their whole body was red and had a diagonal stripped pattern on its sides making a diamond shape on its body while another diagonal stripe was on its face and some on it's arms. It looked built, muscular wise and nearly the same height as Garnet. Their gem was on their chest but it looked rough, not one bit shiny. This didn't bother Steven, the only thing that made his heart sank was... the eyes... those red... eyes.

At that very moment, Steven's worries confirmed. It was not a dream at all.
