Chapter 10- I guess I live here now?

I woke up to Ace gently shaking me, "Talia?, get up we have to get going"

I get up and he hands me my bags before showing me where the bathroom is so I can get ready

"Be ready in 15 minutes or were going to be late"

I begin getting ready wondering what would happen if I just run out of the police station and leave

I decide against it and get ready, I chucked on a light grey jeans with a grey jumper, once I was satisfied, I fought against the knots in my hair trying to smoothen down all the baby hairs sticking up

Like I swear there is more hair in the air than lying on my actual head, well... no that's a lie but still!

After I had gotten ready I sat on the couch and opened my phone, I tried to fight the urge to call Daniel

"Urgh screw it" I told myself

I opened up the contacts and to my surprise no one was there, My moms number was gone, so was Daniels and even my old friends that I had which was Tessa and some of her friends were gone

I went into the recently called contacts but it was empty like no one had ever called me or texted me ever

I then went onto the one place I could think of Facebook, my mom had one photo of me on there when we went on holidays and the photographer made me get into the frame,

My jaw dropped when my phone said that this user does not exist anymore, I decided to try once more and logged out of my account and made a random one, I typed my mothers username in and she came up

"What the actually fuck" I muttered to myself

But that wasn't the worst part, as soon as I clicked onto the photo I wished I never did

My stomach felt sick, The place where I was standing was empty, someone had edited me out of the picture, they were so good that I almost believed I was never In the photo until I pulled out the paper copy in the back of my phone I had printed out for a wallpaper

when I compared both I could see I was definitely edited out and the small shadow behind my mom proved it, her arms shadow was curled around something that wasn't there anymore

I could feel hot tears streaming down my face as I realized I would as good as dead to all of them, they had dumped me and no one was coming back for me ever

I did the one thing I could do I dialed Tessa's number, which I had memorized off my heart, 

"Hello, who is this?"

"T-"

The rest of what I was going to say was cut off by Ace who had covered his hand over my mouth, tightly holding me and snatched the phone out of my hand

"Hello who is this"

Then Ace did something that destroyed me 

"Hi sorry this is Terrance, I am a friend of Talia's, I just got a hold of her phone do you have a minute to talk" Then he muted her and looked me straight in the eyes

"I want you to be quiet and pretend your not here or I will tell her that you died, If you co-operate I will tell her you have gone missing and presumed kidnapped"

"What NO! you can't do that she's my friend please no, I won't do that"

"Then I am sorry I have to do this" he covered my mouth again with his hand and unmuted the phone

"This is Tessa right"

uhm yes.... I am sorry I don't understand why are you calling from Talia's phone where is she and who is this?
