Chapter 48: I would die for you

Talia's POV:

Currently it was 3:30 in the morning and none of my brothers were home, I had woken up really thirsty after a sudden nightmare 

I was fast asleep and then suddenly I wasn't, call me crazy but I had this feeling something was not quite right

Sadie was sleeping peacefully next to me and I give her a small kiss, little did I know that was the very last happy moment we would have together.... (Ikk i'm a bitch I am sorry lol 😭🤣)

I jumped up and immediately left the room after not even bothering to bring the big pink teddy with me I was sleeping with, the one Leonardo bought me

Obviously I was a little frightened and naturally wanted to sleep with someone else, and you can imagine my surprise when I found out none of my brothers were in their rooms or anywhere in the house

I slowly make my way to the kitchen after almost slipping down the stairs and having a heart attack as I grabbed onto the railings like they were going to save me, I poured myself a glass of water from the kitchen

I brushed it off and greedily gulped down the water, I was probably overreacting but for some reason I was really spooked and didn't want to go into my room again

I raised the glass to my mouth to take a sip again

A single gun shot echoed through the house making me freeze, 

The glass I was holding slipped from my hands and shattered on the floor

More gun shots follow after that one too

I had no idea what was going on but I was home alone and my brothers were missing

One thing was clear I needed to hide and now!

I had nothing on me, not a phone or anything 

Footsteps from somewhere near me made me more alert, realizing it wasn't only one intruder there was multiple

There was no maids or anything but an alarm could be heard clearly through the house now

Thank goodness that might of covered the noise of the glass breaking, I drop onto the floor peeping to the side to see Macey walking through my house with a gun

Why the fuck was she here!

A couple of other men were walking around to with guns speaking in I think Russian 

I waited until the coast was clear and sprinted as fast as I could upstairs, I was going to open my bedroom door but something stopped me 

Deciding against it I race to Lorenzo's room instead, surely he would have a bat or something right?

His phone was also on the bedside table thank god!!

I immediately grab it and unlock it using my birthdate, it was just a guess but turns out it was correct which is crazy...

I call Rocco who instantly answers

I don't give him a chance to speak "Rocco there is people in our house and they have guns and their going to kill me.. well I think, and I heard a gun shot and I can't find Sadie.. wait i think she's in my room.. and I-"

"Woah woah slow down Talia, your talking so fast I can't hear you properly"

There is some kind of movement from his side and then Lorenzo is talking

"Talia where are you?" His voice sounds really worried

"In your room, I didn't know where else to go"
