"Young-ah, pleeease! I need you to do this for me!" San's voice cut through the stillness of the small room, each syllable dripping with desperation.

Seated at a cluttered desk, Wooyoung lifted his gaze, his eyebrows furrowing with concern. The weight of San's request hung heavily in the air between them. "San, I don't know..." he began, his tone calm but laced with a palpable uncertainty. "Wouldn't it be safer if you just be honest with him and confess?" His eyes flickered with doubt, betraying his inner turmoil.

San couldn't stay still. He paced the length of the room, his footsteps a soft rhythm on the wooden floor. "I would, but what if he doesn't like me back? I need to know, Wooyoung, just to see if there's even a chance," he explained, turning to face his friend. His eyes were wide, and his lips twisted into a pleading pout, a look Wooyoung had seen countless times.

Wooyoung sighed deeply, feeling the edges of his resolve start to crumble. He cared deeply for his friends, always willing to lend a hand, but this plan felt fraught with danger. Pretending to date San to make his crush jealous seemed like a recipe for heartbreak, misunderstandings, or even worse, someone moving on. The risks loomed large, yet San's beseeching gaze and earnest tone tugged at Wooyoung's heartstrings, drawing him into the vortex of his friend's desperation.

Running a hand through his hair, Wooyoung took a moment to gather his thoughts. The strands slipped through his fingers like silk, a small comfort in the midst of his uncertainty. He exhaled slowly and met San's expectant eyes. "Alright, I'll help you. When do you want to start?"

San's face lit up, a brilliant smile spreading across his features. "Oh my gosh, you're the best! I literally love you!" he exclaimed, his words tumbling out in a joyous rush. Before he could continue, his gaze shifted to the doorway, and Wooyoung followed his line of sight to see Yeosang standing there, his presence commanding attention.

San reacted instantly, clutching onto Wooyoung and planting exaggerated, wet kisses on his cheek. Wooyoung's face twisted in a mix of amusement and discomfort, a laugh escaping his lips despite himself. "I'm guessing he's here?" he whispered, trying to keep his composure.

San nodded, his face buried in Wooyoung's shoulder. "Yes," came the muffled reply.

Wooyoung glanced around, searching for San's crush. He didn't need San to point him out; Yeosang's glare was like a beacon. "Wow, didn't think you were into nerds. But what can I say? You're freaky, and he's probably freakier," Wooyoung joked, earning a sharp flick on the forehead from San.

"Shut up... I'm gonna go to my seat now. Where do you usually eat lunch?" San asked, trying to sound casual as he straightened up.

"I forget you don't usually go to the cafeteria. I eat outside with Seonghwa, his boyfriend Mingi, and of course, YuYu," Wooyoung replied, twirling a pen between his fingers, a smile playing on his lips.

"Tea boots, okay, I'll see you then," San said with a mischievous glint in his eye, already moving towards his seat next to Jongho and Yeosang.

"Wait, wha—" Wooyoung began, but San was already gone, leaving him to groan inwardly.

As the classroom filled with the buzz of students, Wooyoung couldn't shake the feeling of impending chaos. San sitting with them at lunch would undoubtedly stir up trouble. For reasons unknown to Wooyoung, Yunho had a particular disdain for San. It was a mystery Wooyoung had never solved, but he knew that an angry Yunho was a force to be reckoned with. The tension San's presence would create was something he wasn't looking forward to handling.
