Pt. 36 carnival

"Want to play against me on the basketball thing I point to the arcade game

"Sure" he grins and we race towards the game

It was one of those basketball games where you had to try and get as many shots in before the thirty seconds were up

The timer starts and I start shooting

Im not the best at basketball and miss at least a quarter of my shots

The thirty seconds ends and Benny win by a long shot

"Nice you actual win at something" I say jokingly

"Yeah and nice of you to lose somethjgn" we both laugh then continue doing a bunch of the games at the carnival

We couldn't have been there for more than 15 minutes when I see who seems to be smalls with a whole lot of tickets

"Woah how the hell did you get so many tickets we have been here not even 20 minutes?" Im shocked

"I will not reveal my secrets" he grins

After another 20 or so minutes of having fun in the arcade we decide to use our tickets to buy something at the store thing

"Woah that's a lot of tickets what would you like to get kid?" The guy around our age asks smalls as we get to the counter

He gets something random then a bunch of small things and soon his many tickets are all gone

I go to the till next
"Why hello what can I get you beautiful" the guys smirks continuously trying to look like he sung sraring

I glance over at Benny he has his jaw clenched and looks jelly

"Uh could I get some candy and 3 Chinese finger traps and the parachute guys thing" I point not really mnowing what the last thign was

"Sure here that will be 50 tickets" I give him my tickets and turn to Benny

He's glaring at the guy I nudge him

"Uh some candy" the guys gives him the candy Benny guve him the tickets and starts walking away im about to as well when the guys slides a price of paper

"What's that?" I pick it up confused

"My number call me" he puts his hand to his ear making it look like a phone then helps the next person in line

I start smiling all goofy since no one has really done that and instead they would usually ask Kacy for her number

It's not like I wanted to call the guys but it felt nice having someone take interest in me like that without it being a prank

"What's got you smiling like that?" Benny asks happy at the sight of me looking happy

"A phone number from the guy at the stand" I slip the paper in my bag

"Oh..." he looks sad "are you going to call him?" He looks genuinely upset

"No! Im just happy because well I've never had that happen and it's a confidence boost you know?" I smile sweetly trying to make him know I won't call
