Pt.56 Oh benny

It was now Saturday morning and it was almost the end of summer

It was the last week before summer ended

None of the boys from the sandlot or me have seen yeah yeah

Kenny told us he's been grounded and we won't see him until school starts

I had actually forgiven him but Benny still wasn't happy about what he did

I woke up a little late it was almost 7:45

I knew Benny would probably wouldn't pick me up since the bet

We only had today and Sunday left until the bet ended

I wanted to hug or kiss Benny but I know I can last till tomorrow

Benny on the other hand.....

He kept looking at me like he was longing me

And I needed to win this bet or at least I wanted to

An idea popped in my head

I grabbed my one and only white shirt it was a cropped white tank top with thicker straps

I then grabbed a red bra and put it in with the shirt overtop

You could see the bra a little underneath the shirt

After I put some shorts on with my red converse

then grabbed a flannel shirt buttoning most of it so you couldn't see my shirt

then grabbed my bat glove and baseball cap heading down my stairs

I saw my dad's suitcase and remembered

he's going on a business trip for the next few days

"Hey honey I'm about to leave could you help me bring my stuff to the car?" I nod grabbing a duffel bag

My dad grabs the suitcase and we head to the car

We put both of the luggage into the trunk closing it

Phillips then came outside

"Bye dad see you in a few days" I hug him and he hugs back

"Bye dad" my brother hugs my dad as well

"Bye kids now you know the rules I don't want anything happening this weekend understand?" We both nod

We watch our dad pull out of the driveway and disappear down the road

"Where are you going?" My brother questions as we both go back inside

"I'm going to win a bet now goodbye" I smile

grabbing my bat and glove then close the front door

I walked down my street and saw smalls he stopped waiting for me

"Hey smalls" I smile

"Hey y/n" we started walking in silence

"So how do you think the bets going to end?" He asks breaking the silence

"With me winning" I laugh

"I think that to" he chuckles

We continued walking until we were at the sandlot

"Finally!" Squints yells pointing at me and smalls

We all get into our places me sitting in the dugout drinking a coke

We played for about 2 hours changing spots

I was now up to bat and decided to take my flannel off

I could tell a few of the boys were staring on of which was Benny

Kenny pitched the ball and I hit it straight to the fence

I made it to home plate before they tagged it

I walked over to the dugout sitting down taking a sip of some water

Benny was beside me staring at me

"Your staring" I say looking out into the field as ham was about to bat

"No I'm not!" He looks away

I smile to myself

We continued playing and I think my plan was working out well

Benny kept stealing glances my way any time he could

After a few hours the sun started to set and we all decided to go home

By the time it was just me Benny and smalls

the sun had disappeared and it was dark out

"Bye guys!" Smalls waves heading into his house

"Bye" me and Benny both wave

I start walking back to my house

I feel two hands grip my waist pulling me closer to them

I turn to see Benny

He kisses me passionately and I kiss back

After a while we pull away and I smirk

He goes to kiss me again not wanting to stop but I stop him

"I win Benny boy" I smirk
